are pleased to offer you a place in the International Foundation Certificate Programme programme and welcome you as one of our
students. Your offer is Conditional upon meeting the requirements stated below:
1. Accepting this Offer
a. To accept this Offer, and reserve a place on the programme you need to submit a signed copy of the attached Offer Acceptance to
your Admissions Counselor
2. Making Payment
a. You are required to pay an initial deposit of AED 3,000 to confirm your place on your chosen programme. The deposit payments will
be deducted from your first tuition fee instalment.
b. If you require a student visa, you are required to pay 25% of your total year one tuition fees (less AED 3,000) plus your new visa
refundable security deposit of AED 2500 and visa application fee of AED 6,975.

Failure to make the deposit payment will prevent you from enrolling on to your chosen programme.
3. Fulfilling the Academic and Other Conditions
a. Academic conditions
• Obtain a minimum of grade C or grade 4 in English Language O’level/IGCSE/GCSE (British System) OR a minimum of 5.5 in
IELTS (Academic Testing-min 5.0 in each component) OR minimum 51 in PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English) OR minimum
65 in TOEFL (IBT - Internet Based Testing)- Show originals upon arriving to university.
• Obtain a minimum average of 5 Grade C’s or 5 grades 4 and above in IGCSE/GCSE/O Levels. Submit official (not provisional)
transcripts and certificate. GCSE (or equivalent for other education systems) English and Math’s with a minimum of Grade C are
required. Show originals upon arriving to university. Your application will be judged on its own merit and we will look at your
personal statement and supporting reference/ recommendation letters).We are aware that some of you may not have or be able
to get their final grades. At this point of time, you can submit predicted/provisional, or school grades and these will be accepted if
your examination board approves the predicted grades as valid. " Successfully completing the International Foundation
Programme will provide a pathway to enter into Year 1 of the undergraduate programme at Middlesex University Dubai Campus.

• Submit a clear copy of a valid international passport.
• Submit 2 academic recommendation letters on the official school letterhead (references can be provided from any school staff).
• Submit a personal statement of a minimum of 200 words (an essay describing your aims and your interest as well as your
reasons for choosing the programme).
• Sign, scan, and send the Offer Acceptance via email or submit a signed copy to the Admissions Office

SCHOLARSHIP CONDITIONS: Middlesex University Dubai offers a Tuition Payment Plan which allows you to spread your tuition
payments over equal installments per term.
Upon receipt of this Scholarship letter, please proceed to the Finance Department to receive your amended payment plan which will
provide you with the accurate installments and date of payments for each installment.

I accept an Academic Excellence Scholarship for 2023 and I understand that I must maintain an average grade of 8 or above across 75%

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read these carefully before signing.
By accepting this offer:
• I understand that in accordance with local convention, information processed for the purpose of admissions, enrolment and
student records may be made available to relevant government offices.
• I acknowledge that I will only be accepted onto the above stated programme provided all academic conditions and other
submission requirements listed are met, and that all original documents have been validated by Middlesex University Dubai’s
Admissions Department.
• I understand that any refund of tuition deposit made pertaining to the initial payment of the course of study, will be only reimbursed
if the applicant fails to meet the Academic Conditions stipulated in the Offer Letter.
• I am aware that paying the tuition fee deposit indicated in my offer letter is hereby accepting the offer of Admission.
• Any tuition fee deposit refund is only available for up to one year after the payment date.
• Once all the Academic Conditions are met, I understand that if I withdraw my application after making payments towards the
tuition, a payment of AED 3,000 administration and processing charge will apply. Students who are on a University Sponsored
Student Visa will be charged AED 5,000 in addition to the administration fee.
• All fees and charges are inclusive of VAT, should the Tax change this will be reflected in the fees and charges.
Right to cancel
If for any reason the student changes their mind about joining the University after they have accepted our offer (which is the point when
the contract to study with us is formed), the student has a legal right to cancel their contract for a period of 14 days starting on the day
after they accepted our offer for academic programmes only. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for the student to send their
communication in writing to Admissions concerning their exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
I understand that this Offer is only valid for the intake date mentioned above. Should I decide to postpone my studies to a later date, this
Offer would be void and my application would need to be re-assessed. I would need to contact to request the postponement of my studies
