This agreement, hereby dated 01/04/2022, concerning the parties, “the client”, xxxxxxxxxxx, and “the
contractor,” xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx; attaches the following terms, conditions, and details to which both
parties are hereby obligated to follow;
1. SERVICES PROVIDED
The client hereby agrees to engage the contractor to provide the following services;
a) Book Keeping Advisory services.
b) Tax advisory and Tax Filing Services
c) Accountancy services
2. THE TERMS GOVERNING THIS AGREEMENT
The term of service within which the “services provided” outlined in Section 1 above are to commence
and reach completion are as follows;
a) Start Date 01/04/2022; End Date As deemed fit by either Party to this Contract
b) Accountancy services; The Contractor shall prepare management accounts for every Quarter
(Starting Quarter ending March 2022) and these should be ready within the first month from
the time the client makes all necessary financial information to prepare the financial accounts
available.
c) Tax Advisory and Tax Filing; The Contractor agrees to advise the client on tax matters from
time to time as demanded by the client and the contractor agrees to file the Income-tax return
for the client’s company directors, as well as the clients’ income tax return.
d) Book Keeping advisory; The contractor agrees to help improve the bookkeeping processes of
the client. This will involve site visits to oversee, report on, and advise on the effectiveness of
internal controls and also advise on compliance issues relating to Uganda revenue Authority
tax obligations.
e) The contractor shall do most of the work (Tax Accounts and Management accounts) from their
(Contractors) premises
f) The Client has the responsibility to implement the proposals brought forward by the
contractor.
g) In case of Scope creep, the contractor shall bring this to the attention of the Client and a
reasonable consideration shall be arrived at by both parties.
The parties, i.e., the client and the contract, hereby agree to ensure the terms of the agreement.
PAYMENT
Both parties, i.e., the client and the contractor, should note that, for the purposes of this agreement,
all monetary values are to be denoted in Uganda Shillings.
The contract hereby agrees to charge the client a monthly fee of UGX
The client hereby agrees that they will be invoiced Every 15th day of the month (For the first half
installment) and every Last day of the month (For the second half of the installment). Payment shall
be effected upon Invoicing.
In the instance that the agreement is terminated prematurely by the client, but work has commenced
and/or has been partially completed, the client is obligated to pay the contractor a subsidized rate
that both parties agree upon.
The payment and monetary values embedded in this document do not include any taxes that may be
due or any other applicable duties as enforced by the law. Any sales tax and/or additional duty may
be charged to the client on behalf of the contractor.
Any and all expenses concerning the progress and/or completion of the services, if applicable, must
be pre-approved by the client.
In case either party needs to Amend any provisions of this Agreement, either party is free to initiate
talks in this regard and both parties can always agree on how to proceed.
