What have you learned from your grandparents, whether it’s a skill, a language, or a connection to our culture? • I grew up with my grandmother, and there are a lot of things I learned from her. She teaches me to wash dishes properly. She always told me that I'm a girl and I need to be clean and neat in the house. She teaches me how to wash my clothes when I’m in a teen day that time. Everything that my grandmother taught me is always in my heart. She always said that I need to study hard for me to have a better life in the future. I love the way she cooks my favorite food, sinigang na bangus. I miss her so much, and I hope one day I can visit her in their place because it is a little far here in Laguna. • My grandmother is a the best nurse of all time. I smiled everytime I remembered that thing I learned from him because when I was a little she used to treat me with herbs like origano plant, banaba plant and different kind of herbs. We have also different “pamahiin” which until now my grandmother and also my family believe it. 2. Bridging the Generation Gap: Interviewing a Senior Citizen About Adolescence. • I interview Nanay Pinang our neighbor, she is 78 years old and still strong enough to do different house chores. I asked what significant things happen to her when she are in adolescence period. She said that in their times teen who’s in adolescence period much more behaves, unlike today. The teen in her times is more polite and always listens to their parents. 3. Provide examples of movies, TV shows, or magazine articles that depict the midlife crisis. • The example of movies that depict the midlife crisis is the movie entitled, Crazy, Stupid Love. The movie starts with a man married for 25 years into his love of his life Emily. When Emily said to him that she had an affair and wants a divorce. The protagosnists instantly thrust into a midlife crisis. He move out of their house and he bores himself with depressing stories of his wife and family.
