Define, deliver, and continuously improve the IT Asset Management strategy - in line with business objectives. 3. Design and maintain Asset Management policies, procedures, and processes. Experience in Implementing a robust asset management process for all IT software assets across the business. Showcasing knowledge of enterprise software license agreements (including perpetual, subscription, and cloud models), supplier licensing terms and conditions, terminology, and policies with suppliers such as Microsoft, Adobe, RedHat, IBM, Oracle, VMware, etc. Experience in managing key license contracts like Enterprise Agreement, MPSA, EA, ETLA, ELA, and ULA & EULA. Ability to research software products, determine product-licensing Implications and vulnerabilities interpret and process Vendor software license agreements. Building and maintaining relationships across many different functions and organization levels and engage other teams to drive cross functional efforts. Experience in ServiceNow SAM Pro module operations on creation of entitlements, purchase upload, contract creation, discovery mapping with software models, data normalization. Create and maintain a centralized repository of enterprise’s application deployment, Software and SaaS utilization and metrics within ServiceNow SAM Pro. Ensure that all purchase/contract entitlements are appropriately updated in the asset management system and license models are accurately configured as per product use rights and contractual guidelines. Create and set up custom part numbers, normalization of discovery models, custom software products for inhouse applications which are not recognized in ServiceNow content library. 13. Configure reclamation rules for removable candidates based on usage business requirements. 14. Support software asset management processes associated with software whitelists 15. 16. 17. 18. and blacklists, including handling of non-standard software requests, identification, and removal of unauthorized software, etc. Create and generate customized reports from the asset management tool and providing recommendation, optimization strategies for risk products. Deliver cost savings and risk mitigation through management and optimization and the Service recipient’s Software assets and SaaS solutions. Support the planning, monitoring, and recording of software assets to ensure alignment with software license and software maintenance agreements. Collaborate & Support Contract teams but not limited to the below: (i) Pro-active notifications prior to 90/120 days for contract’s expiry. (ii) Publishing renewal calendars. (iii) Effective procurement strategies factoring in agreement and true-up dates, actual usage, and informed projected usage. (iv) Recommendations on optimizing consolidation, alternate license models etc. licenses through contract 17. Create and Analyse software installation and license inventory reporting, completing software compliance assessments (internal audits), and providing support with vendor license audits.
