Adjectives
Adjectives are used to DESCRIBE a
person, thing, animal, place, etc.
beautiful / handsome / ugly / tall /
short / friendly / unfriendly / fat /
thin / nice / nasty / shy / talkative /
sociable / quiet / loud / noisy /
entertaining / boring / cheap /
expensive / intelligent / smart / fool /
responsible / lazy / poor / rich… etc.

Adjectives (characteristics) are used
before the noun they describe.

The only exception is when you use the
VERB TO BE
