Participant with ball
Station one: Catching/throwing
X
Pass Ball:
Group splits up into two teams. Each team gets into a
X
zig-zag formation. The ball then passes down the line to
X
opposing person. Once the ball is passed the participant
must run to the end of the line. Participants must stand
X
arms distance apart. The first team to the finishing cone
wins.
X
* To modify activity a tennis ball can be used to make
X
the activity harder
X
Note: If there is an injured participant we can adapt the
game accordingly (eg; use a tennis ball for non-injured
arm throwing). If that cannot be achieved we will pull
them aside and work on appropriate skills individually.
Station 2: Catching/Passing
Under Over game:
Two lines are formed with participants standing close
together. The ball must travel under the legs to the
person behind, then over the head of the next
participant. Once you have passed the ball to the next
person, you run to the back of the line. This continues
until the first full team passes the finishing cones.
Note: to make more difficult, use different size balls
