One moment she was there, and the next she disappeared into thin air. My friend and I look at
each other with wide eyes. Right now I was in a creepy house with two of my friends and one of
them just disappeared in front of our eyes.
I pointed my shaky finger to the spot where she was standing as I spoke in a low voice.
“Did you see that Aj??” I asked my friend, “She was r-right t-there.”
“Y-Yeah..I saw that. It’s okay. I’m sure she’s fine. She is probably trying to scare us.” He
answered in a confident voice but I could tell he was scared as much as I was.
“Well if that was the case then she did a pretty good job on it.” I stated as I started walking
further into the darkness surrounding us. Suddenly my friend Aj hugged my arm and spoke in a
terrified voice. “W-Where are you going!? Don’t leave me all alone!!” I looked to the side and
smirked at the sight of him being so scared.
“Awe is some scaredddd.” I ask in a teasing voice. “Sared! Who’s scared!? I was just making
sure that you were fine but clearly you don’t appreciate my care for you. ”
He replies as he removes his hands off of me. I noticed his hands shaking so I took his hand
and interlocked his fingers with mine.
“Come on. Let’s go that way.” I said as I pulled him along with me.
We just kept walking and walking while making a few turns here and there. Our soft breathing
was the only sound that was heard. Suddenly I hear a high pitched scream.
We stopped on our tracks. “Uh you heard that too..right??” I asked Aj looking to my side only to
see his pale face. He very slightly nodded his saying yes.
I slowly walked the way where the scream was heard but I felt a strong grip hold me back. I look
back only to see Aj pulling me back.
“What do you think you're doing?? Everyone knows that you shouldn’t follow a scream and here
you are following the scream” he said as he pulled me the opposite way.
