Subject: To inculcate the importance of sports by providing basic sports facilities to schools. Respected Sir/Madam, I am Mst Rohan/Ms Rima studying in XYZ school in Kolhapur, am writing this letter to express my joy when I read the news that Ms Hima Das, the Indian sprinter won 5 Gold medals at the Olympics this year, this is a proud moment for her and as well as it is for the country, She stands as a role model to many children to actively participate in games and sports, At this point i would like to bring to your notice that although there are many children l who are inspired by her and wish to continue practicing the required skills but they lack the basic sports equipments. I would therefore request you to kindly arrange to provide basic sporting equipments to schools that the students interested may get sufficient practice at their skills and continue to bring honour to our country just as Hima Das did Thanking you, Mst Rohan/Ms Rima. INFORMAL LETTER Rohan/ Rima 22, Veerchakra colony, Kolhapur, 416002. 14th July 2021 Dear Minu/ Mohit, I know you will be very happy to receive my letter and i too am very happy to share with you my happiness when i read the news of the Indian sprinter Hima Das winning 5 Gold Medals at the olympics, even though she had very little resources she did brilliantly well and made everyone proud of her, even though i don't like to participate much in games and sports, she inspires me and stands as my role model. I started taking eager interest and participated in games and sports more enthusiastically and it has brought me many benefits. I have now begun to feel very light and active,my diet has become completely nutritious as I need a healthy body to play sports, my level of concentration and focus on all the activities that I do has increased sharply as a result of which I got better grades compared to the last term. Sports keeps one healthy in mind and body, to grow naturally strong with the right balanced diet and physical exercise as it can be practised at any age, but starting early in childhood helps you keep the bones and immune system stronger. There are so many health benefits for human beings with participation in games and sports, yet people do not include this practice of healthy living, i am happy that i have started it early to keep myself happy and healthy all along, i hope you understand my joy of this living this healthy lifestyle and also begin to start one. Give my regards to your family ,especially your younger brother/sister and keep on writing to me.I eagerly look forward to your letters. Yours Lovingly, Rohan/ Rima
