GRADUATE STUDIES
Rationale:
Research is "creative and systematic work undertaken to increase the stock
of knowledge". It involves the collection, organization and analysis of evidence to increase
understanding of a topic, characterized by a particular attentiveness to controlling sources
of bias and error.
This online seminar workshop helps the student equip with knowledge and
skills on writing effective research that will be use in different field to improve our current
educational system based on the actual circumstances happen in day to day life.
North-Eastern Mindanao University (NEMSU) honed future leaders in
education to be technical experts in research, this will lead to be impactful and igniting
young writers to be keen in details in our educational system. The students enrolled in
the course IC 204 (Graduate Research Seminar) initiates a useful webinar regarding on
the succession of educational management. This will play a contributory factor that will
guide MAED MEM student to be ready for thesis writing.
Objectives:
1. Discuss Chapter 2 in Research
2. Know the technique in writing Research (Chapter 2)
3. Develop understanding on the part of research
Description of the Activity:
1. The webinar will be attended by all bona fide Master’s in Education- Educational
Management (MAED-EM) students in Graduate School, NEMSU enrolled IC 204
subject.
2. The activity will be organized and facilitated by the graduate students enrolled in
IC 204 (Graduate Research Seminar) under the advisory of Ms. Christine Rose P.
Montenegro.
3. This activity will be financed through the contribution of the group.
4. The office of the Dean of the Graduate School, Dr. Evelyn T. Bagood reviews the
objectives of this webinar and ensures the delivery of output of the activity.
5. The group invited a resource speaker who is a MAED graduate.
6. The webinar is via Google Meet wherein the link is to be provided by the group.
7. Open Forum will follow after the discussion of the resource speaker.
