Hope and encouragement to action INTRODUCTION Dear brothers and sisters, Sometimes, I wonder what it feels like to live in a place where we don’t worry if there’s food to eat, a place to sleep, a home to feel secure; where we don’t fear what lies ahead of us. But the question is, does having a good leader or a better government will resolve it? Since the election in our country is fast approaching, there is something you need to do as a citizen who desires the betterment of the country, and this letter will tell you what. In times of election, you are not just choosing a leader, but also the quality of life that you and future generations will experience in a long time. You always have a voice to speak, and the power to help and transform the community into better because that’s how powerful you are. Don’t only think for yourself, remember, the community relies on you. Think of those people who have no bread to eat, who have no shelter, and who have no privileged to speak because of prejudice and injustices. Choose what’s best for the people around you, be honest with yourself, and don’t do anything unfair. I hope with this letter, The government has no power to change the world, it has the power to curb evil. Only you, us, have the power to make a difference with the power of the Holy Spirit.
