ADVANTAGES


Division of labor – a team of writers would break a large work project into either sections or by task
such as research, documenting, drafting and editing.
Opinion diversity – with a group of minds working together, there are more perspectives and ideas.
DISADVANTAGES


Differences in writing styles – team writing has high possibilities of displaying unwanted variations
in writing styles if not carefully edited and this might cause delays to the works.
Conflicts – more mind, however, conflicts, over either the substance or the process of the writing
and the team ought to be careful not to let the internal politics to impede the works progress.
IMPACT OF TECHNOLOGY WHEN WRITING AS A TEAM IN AN ORGANISATION
Technology may have either negative or positive impact when writing as a team in an organization
depending on the circumstances. Positively technology helps to break the distance barrier amongst the
team as it allows them to communicate effectively regardless of their physical position and negatively it may
promote laziness in critical thinking as the team may be just browsing data on different platforms.
