BIBLE MONTH CELEBRATION 2022
NARRATIVE REPORT
Bolhoon National High School launched a program for the Bible Month Celebration last
January 20, 2022 and conducted a culmination last Tuesday January 25, 2022 in the afternoon
with the teaching and non-teaching staff as participants. It was held inside the school campus
The school was gladly to respond the mandate to celebrate bible month celebration
pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 124 dated January 5, 2017 that all public and private
schools shall celebrate the National Bible Month in January in every year. The theme for this
year’s celebration was “God’s love heals a suffering world.” (Pag-ibig ng Diyos ang kasagutan
sa dumarating na sanlibutan). The said theme promotes to strengthen the social and spiritual
faith of the citizens specially in this time of pandemic. The celebration helped to remind
everyone to not lose hope but, to surrender everything to God because with God anything is
possible and in order. It had always been the goal of the school to facilitate programs that will
promote and strengthen both spiritual and social faith in God and that will remind always to
uphold one’s values at any times.
The Launching and Culmination program commenced at 1:00 in the afternoon, Ms.
Nevie Z. Naranjo opened the program with the prayer, followed by the singing of the National
Anthem conducted by Ms. Shobie R. Banaybanay, a warm welcome message was given by
Ms. Rosalie S. Gorospe, the Officer incharge for the month. Yours truly, the guidance
designates delivered the statement of purpose and the acknowledging of participants, followed
by a fruitful yet challenging message given by the faculty president Ms. Anacita C. Suarez.
Activities during the launching program was a film showing and a Bible verse relay.
Culmination activities composed of A series of bible games such as Bible drill, Bible
countdown, Bible verse sharing and Bible verse guessing. After all the games have been
played, it was followed by the awarding of tokens for the winners.
Before everyone parted ways, to give us a clear thought and an overwhelming Words
of God to ponder, as the days event ended a prayer was conveyed by Ms. Rosalie S. Gorospe,
as how it was opened.
And that’s how Bolhoon National High School conducted the bible month celebration
for this year. The success of the event was made possible through joint facilitation of the
guidance designate with the help of the teaching and non-teaching staff, volunteers, and the
support of the school principal and stakeholders.
