Trees are vital. As the biggest plants on the planet, it gives us oxygen, store carbon, stabilize the
soil and give life to the world’s wildlife. Trees also provides us the materials for tools and shelter, and
they also provide shade from solar radiation and reduce noise. Planting a tree in an urban environment
is not the same as a tree growing in a forest and that a tremendous amount of care is needed. Planting
trees and garden at schools helps beautify the community. Trees will clean the air and it will clean the
water run-off from the buildings with their roots. Trees does not only enrich the students and residents’
lives but they also enrich the earth that they now inhabit. The scenery that trees will bring gives an aura
of peace to the area. It will ease the soul of the students and teachers watching the birds and wildlife
that flit among the trees. If a person feel stress from their studies, he/she will need a place to relax
his/her mind and it will bring a place of serenity in them. So, if we are going to plant trees in the school
compound, the students and teachers who are under great pressure will feel relieve upon seeing the
trees around the compound.
Planting trees within the school area can give lots of benefits especially to the students and
teachers. But in order to gain the beneficial effect of planting trees, it will need lots of planning. The first
thing we should do is to estimate the area within the school that is free for planting trees. After that, we
will be going to ask the local government unit of the municipality of villaverde if they can produce
seedlings that will be planted in the school. The next thing we will do is to ask the administration if they
will approve our plan of planting trees around the school vicinity.
Plan for tree planting tree planting within the school:
“Planning ahead can make difference between success and failure.”
