Trees are vital. As the biggest plants on the planet, it gives us oxygen, store carbon, stabilize the soil and give life to the world’s wildlife. Trees also provides us the materials for tools and shelter, and they also provide shade from solar radiation and reduce noise. Planting a tree in an urban environment is not the same as a tree growing in a forest and that a tremendous amount of care is needed. Planting trees and garden at schools helps beautify the community. Trees will clean the air and it will clean the water run-off from the buildings with their roots. Trees does not only enrich the students and residents’ lives but they also enrich the earth that they now inhabit. The scenery that trees will bring gives an aura of peace to the area. It will ease the soul of the students and teachers watching the birds and wildlife that flit among the trees. If a person feel stress from their studies, he/she will need a place to relax his/her mind and it will bring a place of serenity in them. So, if we are going to plant trees in the school compound, the students and teachers who are under great pressure will feel relieve upon seeing the trees around the compound. Planting trees within the school area can give lots of benefits especially to the students and teachers. But in order to gain the beneficial effect of planting trees, it will need lots of planning. The first thing we should do is to estimate the area within the school that is free for planting trees. After that, we will be going to ask the local government unit of the municipality of villaverde if they can produce seedlings that will be planted in the school. The next thing we will do is to ask the administration if they will approve our plan of planting trees around the school vicinity.
