In Time
Time, the most expensive and unused resource to human beings. Imagine a world
where there is no money and, currency in time. You work to earn time, and you eat by
spending time. But you don’t have time to think about anything, you need to work very hard
each day, just to have the time to live for another.
Dayton, a city where all the people are working to live another day. There is a guy
named Will Salas, who worked the whole night to give a gift to her mother on her fiftieth
birthday. Age is just a number in this world, you retain the beauty and brain of the 20s for the
rest of your life. Will only has 11 hours left on his clock. Every day the cost of living is
increasing and you got to keep up with it or be eliminated.
While relaxing at the pub, Will found a guy running from a band of time thieves, and
he saved him. He found that he had a total of a century. He chose to gift Will the time and
told him to use it wisely. At that moment, he got a call which said, that his mother was found
dead in her office, with 16 zeros to her clock. Devastated by the loss, Will decided to go to
New Greenwich, his mother’s dream destination, and the city of the rich.
What is the first thing you do, when you get a huge amount of money, with no work?
Of course, you gamble it, and so did Will. There he tripled his time and also met Slyvia Weis,
the daughter of a rich businessman, Philippe Weis.
Before leaving the casino, the group of time-keepers raided the place in the hunt of
Will. The lead time-keeper, Raymond Leon, said that he knew his father, and he was
assassinated by one of the time-keepers, as he caused a riot in Dayton, to bring equality.
Will’s centuries were taken away on charges of murder. Using Slyvia as leverage, Will and
Sylvia managed to escape the casino, and the time-keepers after a chase.
Sylvia understood the importance of equality and was completely favouring Will.
There was a non-profit organization, named Time is On (TiO) that supported people by
giving loans at no interest. They target this organization to bring equality. They needed
something big to make the change more significant. They decided to get into Slyzia’s father’s
company’s vault and steal a million years.
They stole the money and then flushed it into the economy of Dayton. The
time-keepers kept on working hard to track and hunt them down but were unable to. While
crossing, the barrier to Dayton, Will and Slyzia got seen by Raymond Leon, the time-keeper.
The dedication to hunt Will and stop the social and economical crisis of Raymond even
impressed Will and Sylvia. But, that dedication caused him to forget about everything else,
even to check his time. Then suddenly, Raymond fell to the ground with a thud.
The bureau of time-keepers was trying its best to solve the problem. But after a week
of the million-year incident. There was a massacre in the bureau of time-keepers, killing
every last of the time-keepers. Only the files of Raymond Leon were missing. Rumour has it,
that the murderer+ was actually one of the timekeepers. With the timekeepers gone, the
economical crisis had to be solved by, none other than the creators of the problem, Will and
Slyvia.
Their solution was to steal another four million from various places. The half was to
be given to the poorer people, in the hope of making the time of everyone similar if not the
same. The other half was to be given to the bank, to decrease the value of time, making
everything more expensive, and then giving loans and other financial help in certain ways,
which will lead the economy to stabilize eventually.
They stole the time from all the places successfully. They went to the bank and
started to transfer the time. With only a few years left to deposit, there was a sudden
gunshot, and two bodies fell to the ground. One was of Will, who got a bullet through the
brain, and the other one wasn’t Sylvia. It was the murderer, who was wearing the
time-keeper uniform. His time ran out, and his name tag said ‘Zeit Leon’. There was a note
on his hand which said, “Time is malleable, use it while it favours you.”
