“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the
heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” – James 1:17
There is no greater love that He could have shown than by giving His Son to die
on the Cross for our sin. Surely... if this good and gracious God did not spare His
own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, will He not with Him also freely give us
all things to enjoy? And can we not trust Him to fulfill all His plans and purposes?
How futile it is to doubt His Word!
God,
You are my unchanging God, my unchangeable Provider, and the Lover of my
soul.
FEBRUARY 02,2022
“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and
self-discipline.” – 2 Timothy 1:17
The Spirit also works in us “love” and “self-control.” Because God has
demonstrated his love for us by sending his own Son to die in our place and has
poured out his love into our hearts through the Spirit.
I pray that You would pour out in great measure,
FEBRUARY 03,2022
“The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to tread on the heights.” – Habakkuk 3:19
He allow me to walk upon my high places.
O Lord be on the side of your children for we are strong through you who
strengthen us every single day.
FEBRUARY 03, 2022
“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty One who will save; He will
rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over
you with loud singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17)
Wherever you’ve been, whatever you’ve done, God is able to save you. He
loves us so much that He sent His only Son to this earth to redeem us.
God is not only in the midst of us, but He is the almighty God and as such He is
mighty to save His people, not only from their enemies without and their fears
within but also from the curse of sin and death. Christ is the provision for our need;
the remedy for our fear; the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. He is our
protector and defender and as such He is our victorious warrior. Our triumphant
Saviour Who is mighty to save.
God,
I am not worthy to be in Your presence and yet you are my strength and my savior.
FEBRUARY 04, 2022
“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind
you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” – Isaiah 30:21
A succession of prophets had told Israel that by returning to Him and trusting in
His Word they would be saved from their enemies and be blessed abundantly.
Through Isaiah, it was also explained that it would be in quietness of spirit and
through confidence in God's faithfulness that they would find strength to deal with
the trials and tribulations they were facing.
God,
Thank You that You are always there to hold me steady when the enemy of my soul
seeks to entrap me.
FEBRUARY 4, 2022
“To Him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in Him
receives forgiveness of sins through His Name.”
(Acts 10:43)
We all sin- everyone falls short of God’s perfect standard of holiness. Even on
our best days we can all be proud, angry or fail to love others in some way. All
may be forgiven.
God,
Help me to confess my sins to you and to trust you for forgiveness of sins in your
name.
FEBRUARY 05, 2022
“Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” –
Hebrews 11:11
When we receive God’s promises by faith, He fulfills them.
let us not see our limitations as excuses to give up, but opportunities to show Your
Glory.
FEBRUARY 05, 2022
“For I know the plans I have for you … plans to prosper you and not to harm
you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
God uses our experiences in order for us to trust Him more, for us to lean on
Him more, for us to realize that it is He what we really need in our lives, for us to
rely on Him in order to overcome whatever we are going through. Bad or good
experiences are part of God’s work in our lives.
Thank You, Lord, for the good plans You have purposed for me.
FEBRUARY 06, 2022
“Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good
way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.” – Jeremiah 6:16
We are not called to walk the same ancient path to which Israel was called, but
we are required to be faithful to our calling, to walk in spirit and truth as outlined
in the Word of God, to grow in grace and in a knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ,
and to mature in the faith that we have been taught.
I pray that I may be faithful to my calling and walk in the way of peace and
righteousness for Your name's sake.
FEBRUARY 06, 2022
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good,
for those who are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
Even though bad/sad/evil/wicked things will touch your life, I (God) will use them
to ultimately bring about good, both in your life and in the world.
Thank You that I have been called according to Your plan and purpose.
FEBRUARY 7, 2022
Yes, my soul, find rest in God: my hope comes from him.” – Psalm 62:5
In the process, things may eventually be done and problems may be solved, but
our spiritual life didn’t make any progress. We missed the opportunity to know
God and the experience to establish true faith in God.
Hush my heart today I pray, and help me.
FEBRUARY 07, 2022
Be still, and know that I am God.
~Psalm 46:10
After this triumph, God calls upon them to know—now more than ever—that He
will be exalted over all the nations of the earth.
Lord,
Still my heart so I can see your creation.
FEBRUARY 8, 2022
Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break
upon us. Luke 1:78
Lord had not forgotten His people, for the day at last came when once again He
spoke through the mouth of Zacharias – who was to utter a prophecy, that the
promised kingdom of God, and salvation.
Dear loving heavenly Father, how we praise Your glorious name for sending the
Dayspring from heaven to be our Saviour and Lord.
FEBRUARY 08, 2022
It is in vain that you rise up early
and go late to rest,
eating the bread of anxious toil;
for he gives to his beloved sleep.
~Psalm 127:2
Rising early and staying up late, running ourselves ragged with anxiety, is
not God’s will for our lives. Rest is a gift.
Beloved, trust your Father’s love for you. Cast your cares on Him and have no
more sleepless nights.
FEBRUARY 09, 2022
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. 1 Peter 5:7
We should entrust all things to the Lord without doubts.
I come to You today casting my cares on You.
FEBRUARY 09, 2022
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.
~Colossians 3:15
A grateful heart that is filled with heavenly thanks and praise to God, is a heart
that is ready and prepared to have the peace of Christ stream into their inner being
and flow out to others - as a testimony of praise to our heavenly Father.
I pray that the peace of God may rule in my heart with thanksgiving and praise.
FEBRUARY 10, 2022
He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Isaiah 40:29
The Lord promised to right every wrong and to exalt every valley that had been
laid low. He vowed to make the crooked path straight. He pledged to feed His
flock like a Shepherd and committed to gather His little lost lambs into His own
loving arms. He reminded them that His ways are perfect, His counsel is sure, His
justice is true, and His compassion and mercy is new every morning.
Thank You that You are a good and gracious God.
FEBRUARY 10, 2022
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.
Psalm 4:8
My worries, anxieties, fears, and “what-ifs” are really good att interrupting my
sleep, but even there, “you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”
God,
Thank you giving me peace.
FEBRUARY 11, 2022
If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. Jeremiah 29:13
Praise God that ALL who seek Him and search for Him have been promised, in
His WORD, that He will be everything they need, when they search for Him with
their whole heart.
Thank You, Heavenly Father, that I am Your child.
FEBRUARY 11, 2022
In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat— for he grants
sleep to those he loves.
Psalm 127:2
I love thinking about sleep as a gift of God’s outpouring of love to me. He
created us to work but also to rest and when I can allow myself to experience that
rest fully, it sure feels like a precious gift to wake up feeling rested and
rejuvenated!
God,
Thank you for letting me sleep with peace.
FEBRUARY 12, 2022
“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want”
Psalm 23:1
We may not have all we desire, but we trust that God is providing for us
every single day. We may not receive the recognition we want, but we trust God
sees us and knows exactly where we are. We have struggles, but God will not place
more on us than we can bear. Struck down, heartbroken, in despair but we trust
that the God has never left our side.
We may not be where we want to be, but we can trust that God has us there
for a reason.
Dear God,
I just want to simply thank you that you are our good Shepherd that we can
trust you with our lives. Thank you for your leadership and Sway, for the care all
days for merely reestablishes our souls, grant us peace, and bring us trust in all of
our tomorrows. Thank you Lord, that you trustworthy and able, that you are our
Refuge and hope.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
FEBRUARY 12, 2022
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”
Matthew 11:28
A Spirit-filled life does not ensure a trouble-free natural life. What God does
guarantee is that he will help us through these trials, and He will not allow us to
suffer. If our day was particularly boisterous or depleting, this verse reminds us
that Jesus is making a way to help us, indeed in spite of the fact that we might not
realize it.
There are times when the limits of our ethical quality overpower our eagerly,
commitments, and capacities. In our journey for our significance, we chase so
numerous things. But there’s as it were one genuine source of that leads to rest.
We need to put down our burdens and come to him.
Dear God,
I come to you today for I am tired and in need of rest. There is so much
around me that brings anxiety and uneasiness. Help me to receive your rest today.
Please give me your presence.
Allow the truth of your cherish to fill my minds and heart.
Amen.
FEBRUARY 13, 2022
“He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.”
Psalm 147:3
Our voyages through life can take us through the encounter of misfortune, of
somebody or something dear. The misfortune of an adored one through passing is
one of life’s most seriously challenges, and the torment can be overpowering. But
God doesn’t take off you to endure alone.
God has the same heart for us like He had for Mary and Paul. He knows the
wounds that individuals, circumstances, and sin have caused in our life. He knows
what our battle, the prosperities and addictions that hold us back from living the
copious life he arranged for us. And he has both a want and arranges to mend those
wounds. God wants to recuperate our heart right now. We don’t need to wait to
encounter the power of God. God needs us to live a life responsive to all the
cherish and favoring He yearns to deliver us.
Dear God,
I’m leaning on you and I allow you to continue the process of healing me.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
FEBRUARY 13, 2022
“I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.”
Philippians 4:13
Paul wanted us to realize that planet earth hurls all kinds of problems our
way, and if our joy is found in earthly things, well, we’re going to be in for an
emotional roller coaster ride. However, if our joy is found in Christ, well, even
when life hit’s rock bottom, we can still find joy. That’s the meaning of “I can do
all things through Christ who strengthens me”.
It is not about having our circumstances fixed. It’s about learning to lean on
Jesus and depend on Him, even if the circumstances don’t get better. It’s about
letting Jesus be the source of our joy.
Just knowing that Jesus is always with and in us and that He swears to never
leave us or forsake us, should produce all kinds of joy, even if the desires of the
flesh are not being met.
Dear God,
Teach me, my Father, to look to Jesus each moment of the day for my
strength, and not to rely on my own, imperfect, human abilities and intelligence,
for without You I can do nothing.
Amen.
FEBRUARY 14,2022
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as
in fact you are doing.”
I Thessalonians 5:11
To energize one another is to provide strength where it is required. The life,
to which God has called the Christian to be in this world, but not of it, requires
ethical boldness. Support can be given through supplication for one another,
through talking the truth in cherish, and through favoring others with words and
deeds. These supportive gestures are regularly the difference-maker for somebody
who is in the edge of falling absent.
Encouraging and motivating your neighbors is a vital portion of cherishing
them as yourself. Giving support and motivation is important since most
individuals we meet are hurting in some way.
Dear God,
Thank you that this day comes with me not like a thief in the night. You let
me know the end from the beginning. Help me to share this knowledge of
consolation and hope with those that are saved and those who are lost in their sin.
Amen.
FEBRUARY 14,2022
“…for He gives to His beloved even in his sleep.”
Psalm 127:2
The Lord pours out His support on our works, and build up the work of our
hands. But when our work is separated from his provision, or when we attempt to
work in our own strength, we find the worthlessness of our activities. When we
seek to be independent of the Lord, we discover it is unsuccessful to rise up early
and resign late.
It made me realize that Lord is not only the creator of that beloved rest that
we have and that revive us every day but, He gives gifts to His beloved childreneven when they are sleeping. God in His grace gives us peace, rest, with its
restoring, reviving, and renewing, which gives our soul and body.
Dear God,
I praise You that I can do all things with Your grace. Keep me from worries
of the day and keep me safe at night and away from fears. May I never forget that
it is You who provides for my daily needs.
Amen .
FEBRUARY 15, 2022
“In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I
lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.”
Psalm 5:3
Too often we have an insight of how God will reply in our prayers and when
our petitions ought to be replied, but God’s ways are not the same in our way and
His timings don’t continuously coincide with our eager expectations- but His way
and His timings are always the most excellent for each life, for He knows the way
we ought to take. Let us reflect the prayer –life of David, In the morning, O LORD,
You will hear my voice; in the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly
watch.
Dear God,
Thank you for Your mercies which are new every morning. Help me to be
regular, systematic, orderly and faithful in my prayer-life and may I come into
Your presence with joyful expectation, knowing that You are a God Who hears and
answers prayers.
Amen.
FEBRUARY 15, 2022
“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own
worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”
Matthew 6:34
This is God’s exhortation to us. We often worry about our basic necessities,
children’s prospects and providing for the elderly. The reason for these is that we
have no understanding of God’s ruling over all things and have no confidence to
entrust everything to Him. The Bible said, “Therefore take no thought, saying,
what we shall eat? Or, what shall we drink? Or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek :) for your heavenly Father knows
that you have need of all these things.” Actually, God knows clearly our
difficulties and necessities. He has prepared for us everything. Before He created
mankind, God had created all things that mankind needs. But we don’t put our trust
in God, we worry a lot about unknown future. Then how should we truly cast away
worry and entrust difficulties to God.
Dear God,
God, you pour out blessings all around me. You’ve given me everything I
have, but I still worry. I worry about my health, my loved ones, money, work, and
the trouble around me. Please give me peace so I don’t worry about the future.
Help me to trust that the future is in your hands, and that you are in control.
Amen.
FEBRUARY 16, 2022
“Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand
against the devil’s schemes.”
Ephesians 6:11
Because our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual powers
and principalities, our weapons are not physical weapons, and our armor is not
physical armor. To stand against Satan, we are not unarmed but spiritually armed
amply. The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the helmet of salvation,
the shield of faith and the sword of truth are all component pieces of the full armor.
When the whole outfit is in place, there are no vulnerabilities in the front. True,
there is no armor for our backs, but it is our fronts that will face the battle as the
Church storms the gates of hell. If our backs are in need of protection, let it come
from our brothers and sisters in the Church, who are watchful and fight beside and
behind us.
Though we are saved by grace alone, and so righteousness, truth, salvation
are all a given in our eternal reality, to “put on the full armor of God” is to immerse
our minds in the awareness of the truth of who we are in Christ and the power that
dwells inside us, by which we walk by faith through the gauntlet of demonic power
that still dwells in the darkness of a planet that is bound for destruction because of
the wrath of God for sin.
Dear God,
I know you never leave me. I moreover know merely can vanquish the fiend.
I wish that you guide me with everything, to overcome the allurements of the devil.
Fill me with the intelligence, provide me confidence and encompass me with wise
advice.
Amen.
FEBRUARY 16, 2022
“Now when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and
behold, terror and great darkness fell upon him.”
Genesis 15:12
At this point in the story, the sun is going down. Previously, God had
instructed Abram to look at the stars. That moment either took place within
Abram’s vision or on the previous night. On this night, at dusk, Abram seems
supernaturally overpowered by deep sleep and a great and dreadful darkness.
God,
O Lord, with much dimness I draw nigh to You. Clear the dimness away
from me and flood me with the light of your countenance. Remind me of the
promises you have made to me; and give me vision to see what is now hidden and
confidence to wait for your timing to be revealed.
Amen.
FEBRUARY 17, 2022
“Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love.”
Psalm 90:14
What's the secret of having a good day? How about waking up and
recognizing that we begin each day just as we ended the previous one — we are in
the grip of God's unfailing love. That should make our hearts stir with love and our
voices sing with joy. This song should stir God's Spirit within us and lead us to a
deep and profound thanksgiving that gladdens all of our days. So rather than waking
up tired, cranky, and dreading another day, let's begin this day with a reminder of
God's grace in our daily lives and a reminder of God's promises in our hearts. Then, I
don't think we're going to have any problem singing the rest of the day!
Dear God,
Thank you for pouring your love and joy into my heart through your Holy
Spirit. Fill my heart and satisfy my life with a sense of your abiding and unfailing
love.
In the name of my loving Savior, Jesus. Amen.
FEBRUARY 17, 2022
“Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.”
Proverbs 2:11
Here, Solomon tells us that discretion and understanding will secure us.
Discretion can be characterized as the quality of having or showing discernment.
We are moreover told ere that discretion will protect us. A common English
saying, each individual has two ears and one mouth, so we ought to tune in twice
as much as we talk.
Which wisdom or the Gospel gives, or the Lord by the means of it; for the
Gospel makes a man wise and discreet in the business of salvation, and in his
conduct and deportment; and the discretion it gives him will put him upon his
guard, and direct him to watch against every error, and every false way. And so the
words may be rendered, "discretion will watch over thee"; to keep thee from
everything pernicious in doctrine and practice. The Septuagint version renders it,
"good counsel"; which wisdom gives, and the Gospel is full of; and which, if
attended to, is a means of the preservation of the saints; understanding shall keep
thee;.
Dear God,
Forgive me Father, for I fear that I am more often a "character" than I am a
person of character. Forgive my selfish desire to play to the crowd. I confess that I
sometimes try to be witty and popular, rather than being a person of discretion,
understanding, and integrity. Help me please, dear LORD, to see through the
temptation of haste and find your path to integrity.
FEBRUARY 18, 2022
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
1 Peter 5:7
Amidst a list of instructions to the church, Peter warns his readers to humble
themselves, be sober-minded, and resist the devil. In the same list, he commands
them to cast their anxiety on God. It is clear from his letter that the church was
being tested by persecution and various trials. The Christians were experiencing
anxiety. Peter was no stranger to anxiety, having followed Jesus in his earthly
ministry and through his death and resurrection, and having been imprisoned and
flogged multiple times for his own preaching.
Dear God,
Lord, I don’t want to be anxious about anything, knowing that I can cast all
of my anxious thoughts on You, but how difficult I find it to cast all my cares on
You, before I start to worry. What often happens is that I become more and more
anxious over all the difficulties of life that are crowding in on me, and eventually I
turn my thoughts to You and reach out to You in my helplessness.
Amen.
FEBRUARY 18, 2022
“Ask and it will be given to you seek and you will find; knock and
the door will be open to you.”
Matthew 7:7
Unexpected “life changing events” requires “personal changes” to adjust and
move forward. We ought to inquire for the tools to adjust a “life changes”, we
ought to look for modern heading to oblige “life changes” and most of all when
God opens a way, we have to be open to the heading. With God, each misfortune
has an open door. When God permits difficulty and torment in our lives, we are as
a rule being guided to a door of “God’s blessing” that we never would have found
without the misfortune.
Dear God,
Loving Father, thank you for breaking down the barrier between God and
man and permitting me to come into Your holy presence in prayer, for mercy to
find help in time of need. Help me to pray, and keep on praying in spirit and in
truth. Help me to pray purposefully and persistently, and in accordance in Your
will..And may I learn to ask faith, to seek You with all my hearts.
Amen.
FEBRUARY 19, 2022
“Give thanks to the LORD for He is good: His love endures forever.”
Psalm 107:1
This dazzling Psalm explodes into a tune of thanksgiving to God, since His
kindness and cherishes perseveres until the end of time. But it could be a Psalm
which verse by verse proceeds to construct up to a crescendo of thankful much
obliged, because it records the numerous things that God has done for His
individuals- Israel, and the many ways that He has reacted to their cry for offer
assistance. In spite of the fact that typically a Psalm that records the numerous
ways that God reacted to their require and shielded them from their foes-it
moreover targets- in on the truth of God’s immovable loveGod redeemed Israel from their enemies; He heard and responded to their
cries when they were alone in the wilderness or far away for their home and loved
ones. He fed them when hungry, gave them drink when they were thirsty and
refreshed their weary souls when their hearts were fainting. He responded to their
cries and poured out gracious goodness to them – even when they rebelled against
the word of the God or proudly forged-out their own pathway. In this beautiful
song of praise Israel recognized that the goodness of God was not dependent on
them – but on His everlasting faithfulness – His eternal grace - His loving-kindness
which is never-ending. They understood that the Lord hears every cry of their heart
and that He alone responds to their pleas and bring them through their troubles and
trials.
Dear God,
Loving Father I thank You and praise Your name for You are a good and
faithful God – and Your steadfast love endures forever.
Amen.
FEBRUARY 19, 2022
“I lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for the LORD was
watching over me.”
Psalm 3:5
Trust God in all things may be a foundational statue for confidence within
the word of God is His will for each of our lives. Trusting God wholeheartedly is
the middle and circumference of all intelligence since he is the starting and the
conclusion of all information.
It is nectar to the taste, the well spring of light, life, cherish and hope.
Having confidence in God is the fountain-head of all that’s great – and it sacrifices
our magnificent Father, for without confidence it is incomprehensible to it would
be ideal if you have Him.
Dear God,
I pray especially for those who are walking through difficult, challenging
times right now, who are walking through valleys in their life. God, I pray for your
sustenance in them. I pray for your strength in them. I pray for your sustaining
hope and sustaining joy and sustaining love and sustaining mercy in their lives. As
they lay down their head on the pillow at night after a long, hard day and they’re
not sure what the next day holds, God, may they look to you as their sustenance.
FEBRUARY 20, 2022
“He [God] speaks in dreams, in visions of the night, when deep sleep
falls on people as they lie in their beds.”
(Job 33:15).
The darkness of the night having shut out all objects from their sight, so that
the mind is not diverted by images of earthly things impressed on the senses. Many
warnings in this way have come from God; and the impression they made, and the
good effect they produced, were the proofs of their Divine origin. To deny this
would be to call into doubt the testimony of the best, wisest, and holiest men in all
ages of the Church.
Dear God,
Guide me this night and protect me from the evilness. Give me peaceful
night.
Amen.
FEBRUARY 20, 2022
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
1 Peter 5:7
There are numerous places in sacred text that remind us that the cares and
concerns of this world can end up a burdensome stack in our lives. “Independence”
gladly broadcasts that it has built up a extend of adapting procedures and self-help
aptitudes to bargain with all the stresses and strains of life, whereas ‘Pride’
presumptuously declares that it is well-able to go it alone – but the World of God
paints an awfully distinctive picture.
Being called to cast all our anxieties on Him, does not mean giving Him
selective burdens while withholding others. He cares about each compartment of
life and can minister to every hurt, every difficulty, and every foolish mistake we
make.
God,
Thank You that I have the sure knowledge that You have promised to carry
every anxiety and pain. I admit, dear Father, that I am weak in myself, but praise
You that I can draw on Your amazing strength today and in the days that lie ahead.
In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
FEBRUARY 21, 2022
“You [God] send the darkness, and it becomes night, when all the
forest animals prowl about.”
(Psalm 104:20)
Here is a pictorial description of the new heaven and new earth. They are
eternal, and in them safety, peace, and plenty will be available to all of us, who are
believers. We don’t know how the new earth will look or where it will be, but God
and his followers – those whose names are written in the Book of Life – will be
united to live there forever.
God,
Thank you for your creativity, by seeing all the creations you do it give me
peace specially at night where darkness gives me anxiety.
FEBRUARY 21,2022
“Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health
to the bones.”
Proverbs 16:24
If kind words are sweet to the taste and healing to the bones, then what does
harsh and evil speaking words does? For one thing it does not taste good nor bring
healing, but instead it brings about hurt, pain, anger, resentment,
rejection, withdrawal and so many other negative emotions and actions. One thing
about words is the fact that once they are spoken they can never be taken back.
When spoken words are guided by lips of wisdom through a mind and heart
that is lead by the Spirit of God, those words can be a sweet desert for any
occasion.
God,
Heavenly Father, thank You that that I am covered by the righteousness of
Christ Jesus my Savior, Who is my secure tower of refuge, and in Whom is
everything I need.. in every area of my life, and in Whose name I pray, AMEN
FEBRUARY 22,22
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will
be given to you as well.
Matthew 6:33
Before, I wanted to be successful. Specifically, I wanted to be rich (like
filthy rich,) today, I am happy and contented. I know my purpose in life and I am
doing everything for the great commission. That being said, my heart, my mind,
and my body is in it for the long haul - every inch of my being already caught by
the vision. It means, serving Him and seeking His presence daily in our lives.
God will be found if you seek Him with all of your heart, mind, and
strength. This might be difficult for most but when done wholeheartedly, is very
much worth it,
God,
Teach me to work to expand your kingdom, not my own. Help me to walk by your
word, not by my own selfishness. Amen.
FEBRUARY 22,22
But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you
are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.
Psalm 59:16
Like so many of the psalms that mean so much to God’s children, this is one
that outlines the many problems, mountainous difficulties, troublous times, and
numerous enemies that were surrounding David on every side. He wrote this psalm
when Saul's hatred of him began to be openly displayed, and the bitter-hearted king
sought out ways to murder David - who had to flee the country to save his life.
The delight of the God our hearts and David was learning the advantage of
lifting up his voice to the God within the morning hours. He was learning to keep
in mind God’s previous kindness.
God,
Help me to focus on lives outside issues nor the inner questions that can
enter my intellect and cause me to fear. Help me, Lord, to bring to intellect Your
valuable guarantees of refreshment and supply, and to cast all my burdens on You.
He wants people to accept the wisdom he's dishing out, not to just keep
mindlessly performing rituals. He says God doesn't care about the things the fools
are babbling.
God,
Heavenly Father, how I thank you for bringing us safely to the end of the day. I
praise and thank you for your loving-kindness and great goodness to us today.
FEBRUARY 23,22
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and
my portion forever.
Psalm 73:26
I find, by pitiful encounter, my claim shortcoming and failure to come across
such temptations, and bear, with getting to be patience and resignation, such
troubles, as I regularly meet with; I discover myself a slight that might in the blink
of an eye return to the clean. My tissue and heart, my body and soul may, and,
unless bolstered by God, will before long come up short. But God is the equality of
my heart- I have found Him so, and trust I ever might.
God,
Remove all the pain that this little one is suffering.
FEBRUARY 23, 22
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe
(Psalm 4:8).
In peace will I lay me down and sleep at once: no fears or anxieties delaying
slumber.
God
My love is poor and weak and my thoughts and prayers are too often motivated
from selfish desires and a lack of understanding of Who You are.
FEBRUARY 24, 22
But I cry to you for help, LORD; in the morning my prayer comes before you.
Psalm 88:16
It is far worse if God turns His back on you. One of the great evils of hell is the
fact that those in hell are totally separated from God forever.
God,
Pray today that you will be faithful to God and call to Him if you find
yourself discouraged or far away from God. He will answer you; He will again
bring you into times of great joy and gladness.
FEBRUARY 24,22
When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers—the moon and
the stars you set in place—what are ...human beings that you should care for
them? (Psalm 8: 3, 4)
As you consider the glory of creation this week, whether in the smallest of
creatures, or the infinitely large universe in which we dwell, consider the fact that
the God who made all of it with his “fingers” remembers you. Even if you are not a
Christian, He knows who you are. And if you are a believer, He loves you with a
love that would cause Him to take flesh, enter into His own creation, and die to pay
the penalty for your sin, that you might know Him.
God,
Loving Father, I stand amazed when I consider the insignificance of man in the
context of the splendors’ of the extended universe, and yet You love me so much
that You gave Your only begotten Son to pay the price for my sins, for which I give
You eternal praise and glory, in His name I pray, AMEN
FEBRUARY 25,22
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
Psalm 90:14
The love, grace, and mercy of God, his presence, and communion with him,
the coming of Christ, and the blessings of grace by him, lay a solid foundation for
lasting joy in the Lord's people, who have reason always to rejoice in him; and
their joy is such that no man can take from them,
God,
Thank you for pouring your love and joy into my heart through your Holy
Spirit. Fill my heart and satisfy my life with a sense of your abiding and unfailing
love.
FEBRUARY 25, 22
I will bless the Lord who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me
(Psalm 16:7).
That is, by his wise and gracious counsel hath provided so good a heritage for me:
or, who hath inspired that counsel and wisdom into me by which I have chosen
him for my portion and happiness, and am so fully satisfied with him. So ignorant
and foolish are we, that, if we be left to ourselves, our hearts will follow our eyes,
and we shall choose our own delusions, and forsake our own mercies, for lying
vanities: and, therefore, if we have indeed taken God for our portion, and preferred
spiritual and eternal blessings before those that are sensible and temporal, we must
thankfully acknowledge the power and goodness of divine grace, directing and
enabling us to make that choice.
God
Thank You for always making a way of direction for me. May I always remember
each lesson as a blessing. During difficult moments, help me to use what You have
placed within me.
FEBRUARY 26, 22
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Philippians 4:6
We are not to be anxious about anything, but are to bring everything in life
to the Lord in prayer. We are to pray aright and this is only possible as we abide in
Christ and He in us. We are to keep our hearts free from fretting and worry and this
can only be achieved as we cast all our care and concern on the Lord Jesus - for He
cares for us.
God
Thank You that You hold today in Your hand and my future is secure in You. Thank
You that I can cast all my cares upon You - for You care for me. Keep me from
anxious thoughts and help me to train my mind on Jesus for I want to depend on
You in all things.
FEBRUARY 26,22
You have tested my thoughts and examined my heart in the night...I am
determined not to sin in what I say
(Psalm 17:3).
Thou well know whether there be any evil way in me. Thou hast given me to
see many and sore trials; and yet, through thy mercy, I have preserved my integrity
both to thee and to my king. Thou hast seen me in my most secret retirements, and
know whether I have plotted mischief against him who now wishes to take away
my life.
God,
Help me to become a good servant to you and follow all your words.
FEBRUARY 27,22
In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house,
and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there.
Mark 1:35
Jesus had a regular, disciplined time to be alone with his Father each day. His
quiet time with his Father was intentional; it was a priority he built into his day, and it
required his effort — effort to wake up early before everyone else, and effort to go
out away from everyone else so he could talk with the Father by himself. First and
foremost we should always give time to Him first.
God,
Forgive me for those periods in my life when I have let my time with you
suffer. I confess that I let other things and the hectic pace of my life steal away my
time with you.
FEBRUARY 27, 22
I lie awake thinking of you, meditating on you through the night
(Psalm 63:6).
Even in affliction we need not want matter for praise. When this is the
regular frame of a believer's mind, he values the loving-kindness of God more than
life. God's loving-kindness is our spiritual life, and that is better than temporal life.
We must praise God with joyful lips; we must address ourselves to the duties of
religion with cheerfulness, and speak forth the praises of God from a principle of
holy joy. Praising lips must be joyful lips.
God,
May you protect me from all of these happenings.
FEBRUARY 28,22
For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may
stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
Psalm 30:5
As someone who had experienced a lifetime of heartache and godly favor,
knowing that any pain, anxiety, and struggle we would face in life was only
temporary. In his darkest and most desperate hours, we had called out to the Lord,
and God had answered. Every time!
Life may not be perfect, comfortable, or free of pain and struggle, not even
for the most faithful servant of God. But in the midst of our pain, uncertainty, and
fear, God is always with us and working for us.
God,
Thank You that no matter what difficulty and pain I may go through in this
life, you’re still here to guide me.
FEBRUARY 28,22
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
Matthew 6:12
If people wrong us, they do not have to come crawling to us for forgiveness.
A grace-oriented person forgives and forgets. He does not hold a wrong against the
other person. Why? Because he is the subject of grace himself.
The Father forgives us on the basis of Christ’s death for our sins. Because we have
been judicially forgiven by God, we are able to functionally forgive others.
God,
Pray that we all search our hearts and make sure we haven’t become
hardened toward those who desire our forgiveness. Let us be reminded of the great
love God has shown us, sacrificing His only Son that He might forgive our hideous
transgressions and the huge debt that we owed Him. And may we show our
gratitude by, in turn, forgiving others, just as we have been forgiven.
MARCH 1,22
"Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place,
Job 38:12
That is, in thy lifetime hast thou ordered the light of the morning to shine,
and directed its beams over the world? God appeals to this as one of the proofs of
his majesty and power - and who can look upon the spreading light of the morning
and be insensible to the force and beauty of the appeal? The transition from the
ocean to the morning may have been partly because the light of the morning is one
of the striking exhibitions of the power of God, and partly because in the creation
of the world the light of the sun was made to dawn soon after the gathering
together of the waters into sea.
God,
Thank you for always guiding me.
MARCH 1, 22
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your
ways;
Psalm 91:11
Regardless of the attacks that may come against us, the Lord our God is
declaring that He is with us. He will never leave us nor forsake us.
God,
Thank you for sending your angels to guide me in every thing.
MARCH 02,22
But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for
you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.
Psalm 59:16
Regardless of your situation today, exercise your faith and trust in God and
He will see you through. Jesus was able to stand victorious throughout his period
of testing and suffering; so too can you. Therefore, during this season of reflecting
on Christian’s passion, strive to follow him into victory.
God,
Thank you for comforting my souls and refreshing my mind in every difficulty.
MARCH 02,22
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin!
Psalm 51:2
We have all been hurt and hurt others. Do you remember those times? Was
the relationship restored through forgiveness? If so, live in the joy of the Lord.
God,
Forgive me and accept me again.
MARCH 03,22
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
Psalm 119:105
We travel through a fallen world with many dangerous pitfalls, elusive
places, and dark foes looking for to destroy our close partnership with our Lord,
but in Psalm 119, we are given a wonderful guarantee and unceasing truth..that
God’s word could be a shining light to our feet that will direct us through the
darkness of this fallen world and it may be a sparkling light to brighten the
pathway we take.
God,
Please guide me and show me the light and fill me with your strength.
MARCH 03,22
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your
will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:9-10
The Father of radiance dwells in paradise and His titled is to be hallowed,
treated with veneration and set separated from all others.
God,
Let us enter the Thy kingdom.
MARCH 04,22
I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph
over me.
Psalm 25:2
Shame is the feeling of traumatic exposure of our nakedness. Feelings of
weakness, incompetence, ugliness, foolishness, stupidity, and lack of togetherness.
It’s an acid that strips us of our dignity and dissolves hope.
If there is any shame you’re currently dealing with, will you now use it as a sign
post to drive you to Jesus? Open your heart to grateful, awe-inspired worship!
God,
Thank you for your unconditional love and undying forgiveness.
MARCH 04,22
In the twilight, in the evening,
In the middle of the night and in the darkness
Proverbs 7:9
During daylight, even bad sections of a city look free from sin and vice; but
after dark, they are filled with wicked persons using the night to hide identities and
activities. Drunkenness, fornication, prostitution, robbery, and murder all greatly
increase at night.
