Connect Karabina Partner ID to Customers Azure Resources Check to make sure your account is connected to each and every customers Azure resources that you work with. The following article contains more information - Link Partner ID to Customer Azure Resources There are 3 different methods that can be used to connect your account. Use the Azure Portal Use PowerShell Use the Azure CLI (Az tool) Only one method needs to be used to associate your account with our Partner ID to the customers Azure resources. Method 1 - Azure Portal The process works as follows: 1. Login to the customers Azure portal. This ensures you're connected to the customer Azure subscription. 2. Copy the following link and paste it in the address bar: https://portal.azure.com/#blade/Microsoft_Azure_Billing/managementpartnerblade Note: This link does not always work if opened in a new browser window - it's easier to go to the portal first and then copy and paste this link into that window. 3. In the window that appears, use the partner ID: 561832 and link to this partner ID. Resources that are accessible to your account will be attributed towards Altron Karabina on a partner level. This should be done for all people (and service accounts) that have the ability to login to the portal. This can be done for Karabina accounts as well as customer accounts - if you use an account to connect to Azure then connect it to our partner ID. Method 2 - Use PowerShell to link to a new partner ID with PAL 1. Install the Az.ManagementPartner PowerShell module. 2. Sign in to the customer's tenant with either the user account or the service principal. For more information, see Sign in with PowerShell. C:\> Connect-AzAccount -TenantId XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX 3. Link to the new partner ID. The partner ID is the Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) ID for your organization. Use the Associated MPN ID shown on your partner profile. Altron Karabinas MPN ID = 561832 ## Create a new link to our Partner ID C:\> new-AzManagementPartner -PartnerId 561832 ## View the linked partner ID C:\> get-AzManagementPartner ## Update a linked partner ID (only if you need to change it to the Karabina ID) C:\> Update-AzManagementPartner -PartnerId 561832 Method 3 - Use the Azure CLI to link to a new partner ID Use the following steps to link to a new partner ID with the Azure command-line interface (CLI). 1. Install the Azure CLI extension. C:\ az extension add --name managementpartner 2. Sign in to the customer's tenant with either the user account or the service principal.
