Each horse is allocated a number
Punters can buy as many tickets as they want but CANT pick the horse
Example:
1. Punter asks for 1 $5 sweepstake
2. You receive $5 CASH
3. They pick a ticket from a bowl containing the numbers (usually 1-20)
4. Write down their name and number next to horse they drew
5. Rinse and repeat until all the tickets from that bowl are taken
6. Keep pot of money linked to sweepstake board
7. Once all are horses are drawn then move onto next sweepstake (same list of horses with
a fresh bowl of tickets, usually at a higher price to draw
Once results from race are finalized need to divide placings
First place: 50% sweepstake pot
Second place: 33% sweepstake pot
Third place: 17% sweepstake pot
Note: each sweepstake pot is independent
