Visit all areas of the jobsites at
different times and assess
work
Give recommendations and
monitor that subcontractors
are complying with job
specific safety requirements
View subcontractor specific
JHA and give feedback

Give updates as well as listen
to updates from subcontractor
safety professionals
●
Require specific trainings for
all subcontractors and
document it to make sure
everyone on the jobsite is
compliant
Work with superintendents
and foreman to assess what
workers need these trainings
●
Controls: Recommended safe job procedures, personal protective
equipment (PPE), special tools and other equipment required
●
●
Give a list of job specific PPE needed in the safety training that is
required to everyone
Have PPE available for those visiting the site
●
Know the jobs that are going on and evaluate everyone is compliant
and if issues are seen talk through it with their safety professionals
or foreman and work through the issue
●
Update that compliance in the job orders are being met or exceeded
if there are issues or incidents explain them and have plans to fix
them/documented
●
Same goes for the initial safety training, every employee that is
exposed to any said hazard needs to be specifically trained on it with
documentation
●
Approving fall protection and
rigging that is to be used on the
jobsite
●
Go through rigging boxes and
work with riggers and crane
operators to assess rigging
needs and quality
Evaluate all fall protection
equipment and that it is being
used throughout the job
●
Document that fall protection and rigging has been assessed and that
they are compliant/take photos as well to back this up
