7.32.1 Variables in Reporters not sorted in order
PM-1192
Variables in the pop-up window for adding to a reporter have not been sorted. Now they are
sorted alphabetically.
7.32.2 Add event if the setting of time failed
PM-1222
Added an event for when e.g. ToolsNet tries to set time but is not configured as timeserver in
system. Event will not occur more frequently than once every 10 minutes.
Event will be: " TC <tcno>: Tried to set date but is not timeserver". In the event-column Pgm the
source of the Set Time request is stated.
7.32.3 TT Time always shows PC time, not TC time
PM-1262
Status bar in ToolsTalk-window now displays the time in TC when connected to a system. When
ToolsTalk is offline, the texts "TC Date" and "TC Time" is displayed instead.
7.32.4 Fail to open trace file just saved
PM-1271
In earlier press systems, a saved trace file could not be opened if its trace reporter included the
Object variables: Object PreEF or Object AP. This problem has now been solved.
7.32.5 Cannot read all cycle data
PM-1272
Occurrences of failure to read cycledata is suspected to be caused by corrupted compressed data.
The compression library has been updated with a later version with several corrections which
could reduce the risk of data corruptions.

7.32.9 MID problem in Audi-XML
PM-1308
After a reconnection between Master-PC and PM, the PM will clear the MID values.
7.32.10 Zones are not accessible from API
PM-1309
The API-client could not write and read the Gauging specific Zone parameters correctly.
7.32.11 Audi-XML Approval
PM-1315

A tightening started with SIO > 1 did always report <SIO 1>. This is now corrected so that
the reported SIO is the same as the one when the tightening was started.

Corrected replies to <UDR><UCN>, <UDR><UGI>, <UDR><UPI>, <UDR><USI> and
<UDR><UST>.

If a XML-tag string from the Master-PC is too long, a XML-syntax failure (COD 4) will
be replied.
7.32.12 Step type MS5 reports peakT in wrong direction
PM-1316
Steptype MS5 now reports peakT correct according to direction. Torque resistance for spindle
rotating in stepdirection is treated with positive sign. Torque in opposite direction is treated with
negative sign. "PeakT" now reports the highest value in signed range.
7.32.13
7.32.14 Measurements outside MeasZ-zone are reported as results
PM-1346
Steptype MS5 was measuring also during angle-wait. Now measurement is only performed
between the configured MeasZ-angles.
7.32.15 No SID tags when Control Type is Fieldbus in Audi-XML
PM-1354
When the field, “Control Type” is set to “Fieldbus” in the Audi-XML device, all SID tags (FAP,
FNR, COM, CNR and WID) will be copied from the PLC variables to the cycle data.


In API-client, the step variables are not displayed with their names:
For Screen- and Trace-reporter, the names are displayed, but for some new step-result
variables they were missing in API-reporter.
This affected C/CW MEAST- and C/CW Peak T Last-result variables.

Step direction and Measure direction cannot be set independently in steptype Meas5:
Step-direction and Measurement-direction had become connected. Changing either of
them, also changed the peer.

Requested reporters for both CW and CCW Peak Last T:


Measurement step type 5 without adjustment reports NOK also when measurement is OK:
Incorrect handling of MaxAdjust-value in measurement step, caused measurement to be
reported as Failed.

Traces starts with offset (around 7 deg) and return incorrectly to home position:
Problem was caused by calculation next target-angle for the different zones in a MS5-step
was made on current position after a target position was reached.
When step is starting from an angle different from 0 degrees, this can be caused by a
preceding POS-step. If POS-step is configured to adjust the angle, MS5-step will not start
from Home-position.
7.37.2 Added SHARED_MEMORY_TYPE disappears
PM-1208
When disconnecting TTPM from TC-system with multiprog Workbench open, a pop-up message
ask user if multiprog shall be closed. Answering 'Yes' didn't have any effect.
This is now corrected, but if multiprog is online (debug-mode), multiprog is not closed until
debug-mode is terminated. Then TTPM will also be disconnected.
7.37.3 Press running POS-step do not reach destination and "high" speed
PM-1229
A press running POS with a relative high speed cannot use inertia brake, if speed is more than
20% of max allowed for the tool. Braking is substituted with current-ramp-down.
If there is too much internal friction, the tool moves to slow and comes to a full stop before target
destination is reach.
Problem was caused by restricting current to tool based on FailSafe Force(/Torque). Changing
current limit to max allowed for motor, speed is enough to reach target destination, while still
keeping a low failsafe level.
7.37.4 Bolt Name with the characters “TC” fails
PM-1183
It has been found in the TTPM that a setup was not saved properly if a bolt name contains a predefined string used in the TTPM like "TC", "System", "Station", "Reporter", "Program", etc. This
problem is now fixed.
7.37.5 VWXML – PM10.9.6
PM-1206

When creating a new Audi-XML device, the field, Reset MID always will be unchecked
by default.

A new check of the SIO value at program selection (PRS). The SIO value shall be in the
range [1..99] to be valid. This check is NOT done if the Control Type is Fieldbus with
field, SIO/KNR zero behavior checked.


communication between Master-PC and PM already ongoing. If this happens an event is
logged.

When Master-PC connects to PM and sends its first message, PM replied with false MID.
This is now fixed so that when PM gets its first message from Master-PC on port A, the
MID is copied by PM in the reply sent back to Master-PC.
7.37.6 Follow the Curve in Absolute mode gives faulty result
PM-1230
The monitoring check, Follow the Curve in Absolute mode did not work if the tightening/ press
was run in the opposite direction passing the starting point. This problem is now fixed.
7.37.7 Excel reporter, value in wrong column.
PM-1207
It has been found that the Excel reporter could store data in the wrong column. If the Excel
reporter was set to report step data which could not be produced by each step, the data will end up
in the wrong column. It is not necessary to upgrade the TC software to fix this problem, the
problem was found in the ToolsTalk.
7.37.8 PLC IO Template is not updated for OpenProtocol after conversion.
PM-1176
The IO area for OpenProtocol were not updated after upgrading the Setup. This could cause
unexpected errors in the soft PLC. This is now fixed and the IO area for OpenProtocol will be
updated after converting the setup to 10.9.7 or newer.
7.38 ERRORS FIXED IN 10.9.6
7.38.1 DeviceNet update
PM-1123
GM DeviceNet supports new light scheme and consecutive NOK counter. The limit for NOK can
be configurable from ToolsTalk. A DeviceNet output will indicate when the limit is reached. For
more details see the manual.
7.38.2 PLC Load project
PM-1124
Sometimes the PLC compilation did not finish after connecting to a TC with ToolsTalk
PowerMACS, this could prevent the system from starting up at all. The compilation timer has
been increased from 30 seconds to 10 minutes to fix this error. The timer can also be changed by
MWTIdle registry, which can be found under HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Atlas Cocpco
Tools AB/PowerMACS4000x/Settings.
Where PowerMACS4000x is the software type (PowerMACS4000, PowerMACS4000 Gauging
or PowerMACS4000 Press). The value in MWTIdle represents seconds and can be increased or
decreased (minimum 30 seconds).
7.38.3 In Audi-XML, faulty NOK status for step
PM-1099
Previously, if any step error occurred, the SSC tag was always reported that error in the last step
executed in the cycle. For example, if an error occurred in step 6 and after that two more reject
management steps were executed, the step error was reported for step 8.

This routine has now been changed so that by default, no more steps will be reported after a step
error in the cycle data. A new check box has been added to the Audi-XML device named: 'Show
steps after error'. This check box is by default unchecked meaning that no steps after the first step
error will be reported in the cycle data sent to the Master-PC. If checked, all steps will be reported
in case of a step error.
7.38.4 Faulty Monitoring Force for Press
PM-1171
In a press system, it has been observed that the Monitoring force is not always the same as the
highest Step peak force in a tightening.
This is now fixed so that the Monitoring force is the same or differs very little from the Step peak
force.
7.38.5 Fail to read setup with Mwt 4.6 to TTPM with Mwt 5.35
PM-1054
The I/O signals mapping was not saved when reading a setup from a TC with Multiprog 4.6 and
then convert the setup to Multiprog 5.35. For example, the I/O signals mapping could originate
from a stacklight or an indicator box.
This is now fixed so that the I/O signals mapping is always saved when reading the setup from a
TC.
7.38.6 Possible to start downloading .exe to TC
PM-1134
Previously, it was possible to start downloading any file (*.*) to a TC. That possibility has now
been removed. The only file that can be downloaded to TC is now of type *.mx.
7.38.7
7.38.8 Possible to enter 2 000 000 000 Nm as target torque
PM-1139, PM-1140
If the connection between bolt and program was cleared in the Mode Table, it was possible to
enter unrealistic high target values without any check if reasonable. The operator could then
download the setup and start a tightening with Test Bolt and Program activated.
This fault has now been fixed so that if no item exists in the Mode Table, the TTPM will add that
item to the Mode Table. That is, a check if reasonable will then be performed before starting a
new tightening.
7.38.9 Motortuning creates overheating in some spindles - abortion fails
PM-1144, PM-1164
When spindle motortuning was run over high temperature, a warning message was shown but the
tuning could continue until the spindle was burnt.
This is now fixed so when the temperature is too high, the motortuning will be aborted.

7.39 ERRORS FIXED IN 10.9.5
7.39.1 PST loose its position
PM-1066
When running a lot of cycles in a press setup, the application could suddenly loose its stroke
position completely. The only way to recover from this problem was to reboot the system.
This error is now fixed.
7.39.2 In Audi-XML, the PI1 tag is not shown in the Trace reporter
PM-1049
It has been observed that the Audi-XML tag, PI1 is shown in the Cycle Data reporter and the
Select Trace form but not in the Trace reporter.
This is now fixed so that the PI1 tag can also be shown in the Trace reporter.
7.39.3 Time jumps 6 months forward
PM-1050
Sometimes the date in the TC could jump 6 months forward after restarting the system between
October-December.
This error is now fixed.
7.39.4 Memory leak when running Press with RM
PM-1064
As it was before when running a press program with reject management, the memory leaked for
every tightening being run.
This error is now fixed.
7.39.5 MID0082 Not working properly
PM-1048
MID0082 returned MID value -1 when the integrator failed to set the time. MID value -1 is not
defined in the Open Protocol specification.
Now MID0082 returns MID79 meaning “Command failed”.
7.39.6 Spindles are stalling during calibration
PM-1077
In order to not stall the spindle, the default torque has been changed from 90% to 100% of max
torque when Failsafe is not defined.
7.39.7 Display on TC sometimes goes blank
PM-1071
The TC-display could randomly be blanked during content update and the TC had to be restarted
to have the display working again.
This error is now fixed.

7.41 ERRORS FIXED IN 10.9.4
7.41.1 Crash when changing Station Name to the same name but with different case
PM-868
It is now possible in the System Map to change names with different case only for stations, bolts,
devices, reporters, spindles and TCs. TTPM crashed before when changing the same name but
with different case.
7.41.2 Internal error on line 2106 in class base no 1100
PM-930
This event was generated when trying to set date & time before 1996-09-08 00:00. This is now
fixed so if trying to set wrong date & time, the present date & time is kept and NOK is replied. If
TTPM is used, the following information event is triggered: “Tried to set date & time before
1996-09-08 00:00”.
7.41.3 Check for Non letters in ToolsTalk user variable names
PM-1021
ToolsTalk accepted "*" characters as user variable. This is now fixed. ToolsTalk accepts only
alphanumeric characters in user variable.
7.41.4 Report of Tool Serial Number with Open Protocol MID 0041

the primary TC (TC1) are saved.
This is now fixed, so that traces for all TCs are saved when the system is restarted.
7.44 ERRORS FIXED IN 10.9.3 HF1
7.44.1 Empty ID at traces when using XML
PM-977
If AudiXML device is used, the ID column in the Select Trace form (opened when Select form
TC is picked in the Trace form) will now contain the value from PI1 tag that is the Workpiece Id.
7.45 ERRORS FIXED IN 10.9.3
7.45.1 OSE errors 12 and 21 at emergency stop
PM-911
Using a system with more than one TC having a large number of emergency stops resulted in
stopped controllers displaying OSE errors 12 and 21 indicating memory leakage.
This memory leakage and some smaller ones are now fixed.
7.45.2 Negative speed reported for the speed check
PM-864
Speed check with start condition Manual Forward or Backward could under some conditions
report negative speed for a press system. This is now fixed so that reported speed is positive in
downward direction.
7.46 ERRORS FIXED IN 10.9.2 HF1

7.47.2 Problem with selecting different modes from mode table
PM-849 & PM-875
If the mode table had a mode that only had a name but no Tightening Program added to the bolt,
then any mode after that mode couldn’t be selected from an Ethernet device.
Fixed this problem so that selection of a mode from Ethernet devices can be done even when
empty columns are found in the mode table.
Also add so that a warning is issued to operator when saving a mode without a program. So when
adding a mode without a program associated to, only mode-name given, the mode table can be
saved, but a warning is displayed.
7.47.3 Backwards compatibility problem when creating setup v10.8.5 with a newer
ToolsTalk
PM-861
After creating a setup of version 10.8.5 with ToolsTalk version 10.9.0 or newer, the ToolsTalk
crashed if open the program settings in the Setup, SystemMapPrograms then double click on
program and mark a step in that program.
This bug is now fixed.
7.47.4 Correction - Problem with Plus protocol at Smart factory
PM-857
This error was introduced in PM-2 "Improvement in Multiple Id function" (10.6.0).
Two new parameters were added in the conversion table for the Multiple Id in order to handle two
barcodes of different lengths where the length of the first barcode is known but not the 2nd.
The DC Plus device interface is now updated to comply with the changed conversion table.
7.48 ERRORS FIXED IN 10.9.1

7.48.3 Program names are not allowed to have 20 characters
PM-795
When creating a program it is allowed to create one with 20 characters in the name but afterwards
an Error message will be displayed in the Setup Problems window saying: Program name must be
between 1 and 20 chars.
This is now corrected.
7.48.4 XML problem from VW in Germany, issue 1
PM-797
For Ethernet AudiXML device when several <TOL> & <STR> came in a single telegram, the
processing failed in ToolsTalkPowerMACS. This is now corrected so it is possible to handle
several <TOL> & <STR> for different channels.
For the AudiXML device, the field "Reset MID always" is not checked and the connection
between Master-PC and ToolsTalk PowerMACS was disconnected. After being connected again,
the Master-PC sends a <RST> telegram which was then incorrectly replied with sequence failure.
This is now fixed so that the ToolsTalk PowerMACS adapts to the sequence number sent in the
<RST> telegram from the Master-PC.
7.48.5 XML problem at VW in Germany, Issue 2
PM-798
When a Program Select, <PRS> is handled by the ToolsTalkPowerMACS, the channel to be used
is tested if running a tightening or not. If the current channel is running a tightening, a negative
ACK (CODE 10) is replied to the Master-PC.
In a Program+ where all tightenings not have run, it is now possible with a Program Select
<PRS> change to another program to be run in the next tightenings.
7.48.6 Register is not exported to the Crash log
PM-830
When ToolsTalk PowerMACS crashes the registry is not exported to the crash log directory,
neither included in the zip file.
This is now fixed.
7.48.7 TTPM crash with fatal error due to form resized
PM-834
ToolsTalk crashes sometimes when open PLC->Display PLC status form or System conflict, a
message box is displayed with the text “fatal error. Display of PLC status: Form_Resize: 384 A
form can't be mowed or sized while minimized or maximized.”
This problem is now corrected and was due to that the form that was resized was too small.

"Überwach. Enddrehmoment" was used in the message sent to the Master-PC. The <CAP> code
is now changed to “EK”.
7.48.9 Fieldbus files are missing in installation
PM-836
Fieldbus files are missing in the installation or installed in a faulty directory so the user can’t see
or find them.
Changed installation folder from ProgramData to ProgamFile for Fieldbus files, and for
Windows7, these files are also copied to directory PublicDocuments\AtlasCopco
7.48.10 When creating new setup the Multiprog doesn’t end on windows7 computers
PM-838
After creating a new setup on windows 7, sometimes the PLC, Multiprog, is still running
(mwt.exe process). It seems that the setup has been created OK but it isn’t OK.
Then the operator cannot connect to the Tightening Controller (TC) or open the PLC program,
without ending this process (mwt.exe) from the Task Manager.
The PLC part of the setup is corrupted and this is due to that Multiprog has taken longer time then
expected to be created and compiled.
This is now fixed and the mwt.exe process is no longer running on this failure and the timeout is
increased. If the timeout is expired (not long enough) it will automatically increase by 30sec. The
operator will get a clear message to close the setup and try again.
7.49 ERRORS FIXED IN 10.9.0
7.49.1 TTPM lose track of the PLC program
PM-745
When connecting to a TC and fetch the setup in TC and then disconnecting again or if connection
is lost, following happens.
When trying to reconnect to the TC again, with same setup in ToolsTalk and TC, the message
"The number of stations does not match the number of resources in the PLC setup. Open the PLC
to correct this" is displayed.
This is now fixed and this should not happen again. The reconnection is now possible without
this message.
7.49.2 Start/Stop condition not changed when Operate on changed to zone
PM-786
This error was due to a wrong fix of number of check parameters in ToolsTalk that exceeded 100.
When the fix was corrected, this error does not longer remain.

Some characters are not possible to use in a tightening program. For example characters like ° or
½ will cause problems. If such characters are used ToolsTalk may crash when the setup is
downloaded to a TC.
8.2
No Keep Connection locks the Audi XML process if no server is found
If parameter Keep Connection is unchecked the TC connects and disconnects the Application
Server for each cycle. If the server is down or otherwise not available the TC will try to connect
for about 40 seconds before giving up. The next cycle cannot be started until this is done.
Workaround: Switch to Keep Connection mode.

Setup problems bug in Tightening Form
When having the tightening form open while doing changes to the setup (i.e. adding devices or
converting the setup), sometimes Setup Problems get stuck displaying the same problems even
when the user have fixed the problems in the tightening form. To work around this problem, close
the tightening form and re-open it.
