Let’s talk about it.
Speaker 1 (Kath)
Are you feeling sad with no particular reason? Or are you feeling pain deep inside and have no
one to talk to? Are you feeling drained out of everything? Or in the simplest, are you okay?
A lot of people might deny to themselves for the fear to be judged, but aware that they are
indeed unwell. You don’t get satisfied out of everything. You feel the fear of trying and seeking
for things that will increase yourself accuracy in mentality because of the judgement around
you. Well, let’s talk about it.
Speaker 2 (Kem)
Mental health. Individuals of all ages have this health. It includes our emotional, psychological,
and social well-being. It affects our totality as a person and you can feel it deep inside. There
might be times that you will deny it, you will set it aside and think that it’ll pass as time goes by,
but... its stays the same. The world feels like It keeps rotating and you’re just doing your best to
survive, thus... you are tired of things but still holding on a piece of thread to keep yourself
steady.
Speaker 3 (Analyn)
Mental health matters. From childhood to adolescence to adulthood, it matters. According to
CDC, in the United States, More than 50% will be diagnosed with a mental illness or disorder at
some point in their lifetime. 1 in 5 Americans will experience a mental illness in a given year. 1
in 5 children, either currently or at some point during their life, have had a seriously debilitating
mental illness.1 in 25 Americans lives with a serious mental illness, such as schizophrenia,
bipolar disorder, or major depression.
Speaker 4 (Thea)
Let’s all be kind to each other. You can’t tell if a person is fine just by looking at their outside
picture. As most of the times, people tend to share the positive things rather than the negative
ones. Behind every smile, there’s a tear lingering deep inside coming from someone’s eyes.
Behind every laugh, there’s fear creeping and tiredness screaming in a person’s soul. Let’s all
spread positivity, encourage one another to speak about it.
