Introduction:
Food is important thing for the human body, and nutrition is very important for the life and growth of a
person and maintaining his health. Food provides a person the materials his body needs. There are
healthy foods and fast foods.
The first of healthy foods, healthy food includes all the nutrients that the body needs, such as proteins,
sugars, starches, minerals, and carbohydrates. Healthy food is food that provides the daily needs of the
body so that the body continues to grow and maintain its activity. A healthy diet can help reduce the risk
of some diseases, such as heart diseases, types of cancer, and many other diseases. An example of
healthy foods is vegetables and fruits.
The second of fast foods, they are fast- cooked foods that are faster than home-cooked meals. A many
people eat fast foods and their inability to cook for their work for a long time. There are many fast
foods, for example, burgers and pizza, and the most famous restaurants that sell these fast foods, such
as KFC, McDonald’s, and Pizza Hut. There are many healthy damages such as weight gain due to the high
percentage of fat in foods and cause many diseases such as heart diseases, cancer and atherosclerosis.
Fast food has number of negative effects. After eating fast food, the temptation arises to eat more as a
result of increase in energy. In one of the researches, it was noted that 92% of people eat fast foods, and
8% eat healthy foods, and this percentage is very low compared to fast foods. Healthy foods need some
time to cook and prepare, and fast foods are quick to prepare. And almost people do not have time to
cook and they go to café or restaurant and get drive thru to take breakfast and go to work or when he
finishes of his work go to the restaurant to order lunch.
In conclusion, people should reduce the consumption of fast foods and increase the intake of healthy
foods, and for the sake of physical health and not to get diseases caused by fast foods, and my opinion,
people should reduce eating from restaurants that sell fast foods.
