PREPRODUCTIO N OR SUBJECT DEVELPOMENT • Pre-production is the work done on a product, especially a film or broadcast program before full-scale production begins. 2. PRODUCTION OR THE MANIPULATION OF MATERIALS • This stage involves the gathering and manipulation of materials using the artist's skills and mastery. 3. POST PRODUCTION OR THE COMPLETION STAGE • Once an artwork is finished it will be out in the art market , it will be exposed for public display, or it will be performed for the audience. MEDIUM AND TECHNIQUE MEDIUM • Medium is essential to art . In a general sense , medium denotes the material used the artist or subtance to communicate his ideas, new visions, values , and even intuitions. TECHNIQUE • Technique is the actual doing of something . It refers to he familiarity of the artist to his materials and how he manipulates or controls.
