I would have first assisted high Fowler position to help with her breathing instead of assessing
her and asking her questions while she is coughing
2. What priority problem(s) did you identify for Mona Hernandez?
Airway clearance is stuck due to excess mucus production and the patient trying to cough.
Respiratory rate, rhythm, and heart rate are abnormal.
3. Identify potential patient safety issues related to oxygenation and specific to Mona
Hernandez’s pneumonia.
Safety issue such as inadequate oxygenation, smoking, mobility
