Elicitation: students’ previous knowledge will be
recalled through quiz. Teacher have use Flipped
Classroom and assign a quiz a day before on Google
classroom to check their understanding about 3d
shapes Nets on word wall.

Teachers have used in build features (Match up, Find
the match, Crossword) of word wall to cater
differentiation.
Teacher will start the lesson by sharing the report of
assigned quiz and start the lesson by asking that how
3d nets helps to calculate surface area and volume of
Cylinder?
Teacher will provide open nets of cylinder in pairs and
ask them to calculate area of cylinder through open net
and then they will cut the shapes and make 3d model
of cylinder.
Main activity: What is the formula for area of circle?
What is the formula for circumference of circle?
A = πr2. C = 2πr
A class discussion will be generated about Area of
sector
Teacher demonstration. Calculating area of sector
will be demonstrated by the teacher.
Area of Sector: ϴ/360 = Area of sector/Total area of
circle.
Length of Arc= ϴ/360 = Arc length/Circumference

Through the use of brainstorming the students would think and state whatever comes to mind that helped the rest to build their solutions on the basis of those ideas, think them up
and improve them.
Recalling technique allowed the teacher to know how accurate or inaccurate the prior knowledge of each student is and focus on each student according to their understanding of
the concepts.
Through continuous formative assessments, teacher came to know the extent to which each student have learned the concepts and work in accordance.
