It is a best practice for all students to keep a copy of all submitted assignments/work, if possible. Students who have extenuating circumstances that result in their being unable to meet the stated deadline are encouraged to contact their professor(s). A professor may (or may not) grant an extension to a posted due date. Such extension requests must be discussed prior to the due date, or very closely following. Late submission or completion of any assessments may be subject to a penalty grade deduction. Once feedback is posted and/or discussion of the assessment has taken place, students may not submit that version of the assessment for grading. For more information, please refer to the Student Assessment Policy. LATE ASSIGNMENTS: Late assignments will result in a penalty of 10% per day. Assignments will not be accepted after 5 days. If there are valid reasons for the late assignment, the students MUST: (a) contact the professor no later than the date the assignment is due to indicate assignment will be late, and (b) send the professor an email indicating why the assignment was late. If the reasons are deemed to be valid, there will be no penalty. Professor: Naz Ahmad, MIR (naz.ahmad@senecacollege.ca)
