1.1 Introduction
Zania Events is a web-based application that will allow the management and organization of events
on a large scale.
This application can be used for bookings by companies and individuals to manage their events.
The application is designed to manage events such as birthdays, weddings, baby showers,
graduations, and many others.
1.2 Background
For a long time, event managers have encountered problems in their endeavor to serve their
customers.
They gather a lot of data from event owners, and they have not managed to keep it in manner as it
can easily be updated and shared with other key actors in the sector like the public, event planners
and others.

1.3 Problem Statement
Most event managers tend to organize events manually which is kind of a hard task and time
consuming.
The available events managements don’t have a trusted platform that can be used to trace or have
a look at some of their past work. These acts have given birth to deceits, forgeries and lies about
services offered.
On the consumers perspective moving from one place to another for event’s organizers alone is
time consuming, expensive in terms of transport, less time of preparation and a couple of many
brokers makes the entire process very expensive.

Due to the increasing demand and lack of people with right management skills in planning and
