Amanda Gorman
Her works deal in particular with the themes of oppression, feminism, racism, marginalization
and the African diaspora. In 2015 he published the poetry book The One for Whom Food Is
Not Enough. In 2017 she was the first winner of the National Youth Poet Laureate, which
awards the best young talent in the field of poetry in the United States. In 2021 she was
chosen to read one of his poems on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of the new
American president Joe Biden.
