Positions of Responsibility Founder of EZenglish – online educational service 6/09/2021 - 20/06/2022 • Founded an online educational service helping over 25 students develop creative writing skills, generating over £3000 in revenue over the course of a year. • Managed and led a team of 3 other student tutors, enabling the smooth running of operations by chasing up late work and communicating tasks and deadlines clearly and concisely. • Built strong client relationships with parents and children, accelerating growth of the business through word-of-mouth recommendations. President of Environmental Society – Saint Olave’s 15/10/2021 - 20/06/2022 • Delivered routine talks on timely topics, such as a breakdown of the COP26 summit and a presentation on the ethics of imposing carbon taxes on developing countries. • Organised and delivered a tree planting and gardening initiative to over 60 children at the local primary school, receiving great feedback. • Volunteered to help restore our school biology garden, leading to the strengthening of biodiversity, as well as launched recycling campaigns at school. LSE Hindu Society Committee – Sports 12/10/2022 - present day • Managed the Hindu Society Football, Cricket, and Badminton teams. Completed a course on Microfinance conducted by the Financial Inclusion Society, which included tackling a case study on the challenges of microfinance in Tajikistan. Knowledge of Python, including making simple games such as tic tac toe alongside working with data using NumPy. Strong Quantitative problem-solving skills as displayed by achieving a Gold in the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge then qualifying for the Olympiad stage, placing me in the top 1000 participants. Enjoy playing guitar and have performed at school concerts in front of over 200 people.
