Who we are
Lauger Beauty Academy is a subsidiary of the Lauger Beauty Klinic and Spa Ltd., which was
established in October 2017 to provide the best in quality beauty, skin, hair and make up care.
Operating from over six locations nationwide, we consist of four beauty shops where
customers can find all their beauty products at the best price on the market, two spas where
we treat patrons to soothing massages and physio treatments aimed at aiding blood
circulation, general wellbeing and relaxation of muscles and body. The beauty klinic comprises
a make up studio, male barbering and grooming, manicure and pedicure stations, braiding,
hair styling and dreadlocks salon and a tattoo studio.
The Lauger Beauty Academy is one of the largest private beauty schools in Ghana devoted
exclusively to beauty therapy and education. We offer educational programmes covering all
aspects of beauty therapy including advanced courses such as cosmetology and advanced
holistic.
Our internationally renowned make up courses are for those who dream to be professional
make up artists. Our mission is to deliver graduates prepared for industry through the best
quality training and cutting edge make up education.
LBA offers both full time and part time flexible courses and students may choose either a
complete beauty therapy course or an individual module. LBA is an adult learning environment,
all our students are 18+ and interested in studying under highly professional conditions.
All our tutors have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience as therapists and hold the
necessary certifications appertaining to their ranks.

LBA provides the best educational experience from highly skilled tutors and well planned
practical sessions. Our master classes, industry led workshops and mentorship programmes
ensure that our students are well equipped theoretically, practically and entrepreneurially to
take on the beauty industry. Strategically located in the centre of the Tema West District, LBA
offers a perfect location for students from all over the country. Our hostel facilities enable
students from far and wide to participate in our traning programmes.
Offering internationally renowned courses, by leading make up artists in our state of the art
make up studios, we offer the best spa training sessions with various modules targeted at
churning out qualified masseurs and our hair courses open us great opportunities for students
who take the well structured hair styling course.
Graduates are offered more than five different avenues of applying the knowledge acquired.
First, job vacancies are provided in our institutions across the country for the best students in
the class. Other students who have entrepreneurial skills are supported with capital to establish
their own businesses and are supported for two years subsequently. As well, others will be
enrolled in our renowned beauty therapy events team which will over vital work experience and
paid jobs to help get your foot in the door. A number of our affiliate shops that collaborate with
us also absorb a good chunk of our students, thereby leaving no students sitting at home.
Lastly for those that wish to further their education and can afford it, our international affiliate
colleges offer a unique array of degree programmes for those interested in advancing the
professional knowledge base.

EXAMS AND GRADUATION
All students are expected to complete a stipulated number of credit hours within the 3 month/
1month or 2 week period depending on which module students signed for. After study, a
practical and theoretical exam is undertaken for all students of the batch. Every student is
required to take this exam to render the circle of their training programme complete.
Students who are unable to take the exam are allowed to arrange a special period with their
tutors who will in turn inform management for the paper to be organized.
After examinations, students will wait out a period of two months before graduation. This is to
allow them to graduate in batches of two or three. Graduations are held four times a year, i.e
quarterly. Graduants have five outlets to enable their entry into the beauty industry (refer to
page 4). The best five students will receive direct employment with the company. The rest will
be posted to either the entrepreneurship programme, the affiliate shops, or the events team.
Also, students who wish to further degree programmes can do so with recommendations to our
international institutions.
The 2 year Entrepreneurship programme equips students to run their own businesses
through a Lauger franchise programme where they’re trained with management skills
and supported to establish satellite shops within their localities. The programme will
comprise a one year apprenticeship where they are supervised closely in the shops and
given technical and managerial support to meet their targets. The second year will
afford them to supervise their businesses with little oversight control from the
headquarters, however, quarterly visits and workshops to keep them on their toes will
be held.
