3.5.1.4.1 A ‘dash’ and a ‘serial number’ (e.g. -002) can be written on the subsequent lines provided that the
‘device number’ is common to all BIB and must be aligned to the serial number in the first line,
otherwise write all the BIB#.
3.5.2 Fill up “QTY IN”, “DONE BY”, “REJ QTY” (Reject Quantity), “REJ RATE” (Reject Rate), “DATE & TIME OUT” and “QTY OUT”
of the “Board Load” process row.
3.6
Second check of proper orientation and seating of unit:
3.6.1 Identified qualified operator shall visually check
proper orientation and seating of units per BIB
after board load process.

BIB Resistance Check:
3.7.1 Using DMM, perform 100% resistance check by measuring the resistance
supply tab/s with respect to the ground. There shall be no shorted reading
(display reading is less than 100 Ω).
3.7.1.1 The negative test probe (color Black) of DMM shall be in contact with
GND (Supply Tab 1) and the positive test probe (color Red) shall be in
contact with the remaining tab/s (Supply Tabs 2-7) depending on the
number of required tabs per device.
3.7.1.2 Refer to Resistance Reading Matrix file for the resistance
specification.
3.7.2 Make sure to also check all BIB supply tabs and these tabs shall not be shorted
with each other.
3.7.3 If BIB resistance failed, perform troubleshooting to determine if the problem is
unit or BIB related. If the problem is the unit, isolate which is causing shorted or
low resistance reading then reject the unit. If the problem is the BIB, unload the
units and endorse it to EE Technician (EE area) for repair.
3.7.3.1 For out-of-tolerance resistance reading, perform isolation to identify the unit with low or
high resistance for possible wrong orientation, mis-seated or defective unit.
3.7.3.4.1 Redo BIB resistance check after units in wrong orientation/mis-seated has
been put in correct orientation/proper seating.
