Introduction
Acknowledgement
First and foremost, we want to give thanks and praise to God, the
Almighty, for His gifts that helped us finishing our research successfully.
We would like to extend our profound gratitude to Ms. Wallace, our
social studies teacher, for giving us the chance to conduct research and for
her essential advice during this process. We have been greatly inspired by
her passion, vision, genuineness, and motivation. She has imparted
knowledge on how to conduct research and deliver the results in the most
understandable manner. Working and studying for her was a real honor
and privilege. Even though there was initially a lack of communication
and a lot of tension, we; Daneza John, Davarelle Barry, Akada Fraser,
Juana George, and Kelvin Greasley are all very appreciative of one
another for our excellent teamwork and research skills. We quickly gained
our momentum and completed this SBA ahead of schedule.
The love, prayers, care, and sacrifices made by our parents, our
principal, Sr. Delia Monrose, and our form teachers, Ms. Wallace and Mr.
Edwards, in order to educate and prepare us for the future are greatly
appreciated.

Parenting is defined by the Oxford Dictionary as the activity of raising a
child as a parent. Although it defines behavior as the way a person
behaves or conducts themselves, particularly toward others..
Statement of problem
To investigate the relationship between parenting and students' behavior
in primary schools in Gouyave, St John
REASON FOR QUESTION
Taking into consideration of the fact that most of us have attended
primary school. We too have experienced the different behaviors our
past peers have displayed so we found it appropriate to do a survey in
Gouyave. Our reasoning for picking the topic is due to an outcry by the
teachers and even some parents. The point of this SBA is too; Is to find
out the different parenting styles parents use, how does that parenting
styles contribute to their child's behavior, are the different parenting
styles contributing to something negative or positive, and what are the
pros and cons to different parenting styles. All this so we can determine
if theres a relationship b
