Introduction Through this pandemic the world changed the normal routine and caused people to live differently from what they used to be. And one of these is lack of transportation which causes the rise up of bike popularity in terms of transportation, exercise, and tour. Therefore, the ‘Pedal Pushers’ Bike Shop can help and provide a quality and convenient way of offering bike services and products. My bike shop specializes in selling bicycles and cycling gear. My primary objective is to help more and more people engage in bicycles given that they’re functional, eco friendly, awesome to ride, and offer great adventure. A. The Business Concept and Business Model This business utilizes the ‘Small Business concept’ to provide a central product or service to consumers. This business concept has to determine who the product or service is for and whether it's desirable enough that consumers would actually want to buy it. The concept solves the needs of the consumer and identifies any issues with the business idea. As biking became trendy this year, I thought of a business that could provide bike services, maintenance, accessories, and parts. And using the ‘Bundling Business model’ to bundle products like bicycle parts to sell multiple goods to a single client. Bundling capitalizes on existing customers by attempting to sell them different products. This can be incentivized by offering pricing discounts for buying multiple products, accessories, and bicycle parts. These products and ideas will capture the customer’s interest/needs and dominate the market for this is a trend at this time. Lastly, the shop is also planning to expand its products and services through collaborating and making an alliance with other businesses that are also in the cycling industry. B. The Business Goals: Vision, Mission, Objectives, and Performance Targets Vision and Mission Statement Vision: To be a profitable high-quality bicycles manufacturer and service provider and to give convenience and worry free for all bikers in the midst of nowhere, this store will offer a service for those who’s in need. Objectives The company's short-term objective is to offer consumers contemporary, high-quality products, and services. While the long-term goal is to be inventive, constantly evolving for the better, and constantly searching for new ways to improve the products and services that are offered to customers.
