Objective:


I have developed a program by using the advanced function.
I did a deisgn program to control an engineering application.
Tools and Equipment:
1. PLC – CPIE CPU 30
2. USB communication cable
Procedures:
CX PROGRAMMER PROGRAM icon must be clicked to activate it.Click the new button.Do
the setup.Name based on the project must be changed. The device type of CPIE must be
changed and click on the settings.Type settings manager will be display on the device.Click
OK.Before start any programming, click the Work Online Toolbar as I try to communicate
with the plc.Using instruction to write the given program.Click Work Online toolbar through
online.Click the Transfer to PLC toolbar as I transfer the program to PLC.It will display the
download option and click Program only and then click OK.Click Yes until the last sequence
of prompts as soon I click OK.Program will be run.Repeat.Outcomes must be observed and
must be recorded.

Discussion:
The information will be transferred with an outside electronic device through a PLC
communication. Twisted-pair wire can be used for PLC communication, or it can be done
remotely using a phone or wireless modem. A built-in communication interface using RS232,
RS422, RS485, or Ethernet is present in many different types of PLC.
The big programme is debugged using a variety of techniques, including unit tests, coding
standards, and pair programming (contains thousands of lines of code). Determining the code's
logging and failure messages is made easier by the standard debugger tools or the debugging
mode of the integrated development environment (IDE).
Powerful programme called CX-Simulator serves as a fictitious CJ1/CS1 PLC. It is the ideal
tool for CX Programmer programmers to effectively create, test, and debug both serial and
initiated and maintained and programme logic. On a computer running Windows, the software
is run. When there are no physical connection to the hardware, use CX-Simulator before the
project is launched. It is possible to run and edit developed programmes.
Conclusion:
The sensors' status is examined by the PLC. The sensors' output determines the system
resolution. The PLC then verifies the priorities before sending a command to the traffic signal
poles to turn on and off the red, yellow, or green lights. The ON time is based on the particular
priorities.
