EVENTS DETAILS: 1.Working as a general member of IEEE UET Taxila Role: General Member Description: As a general member of IEEE I’ve been attended the orientation of our session and also attended many workshops and seminars that were held on the behalf of IEEE and given my 100% attendance. Photo Gallery: Facebook 2. Orientation 19 Role: Logistics and Decor co-head Description: A welcome party was arranged by IEEE UET Taxila for the newly inducted members of the student branch. The events also included an oath taking ceremony, in which the member took oath to volunteer in the benefits of the society. Photo Gallery: Facebook 1 3. Induction Drive 19 Role: Logistics Description: After a successful Orientation, interviews were held to recruit General Members from '19 session. Seminar on Application, Guidance & Opportunities Abroad: Role: Logistics Description: : IEEE UET Taxila in collaboration with SIEP UET Taxila conducted a series of seminar on “Application, Guidance and Oppurtunities Abroad”. Muhammad Saif Raza(Chairperson IEEE UET Taxila) and Junaid Mir (Common Wealth Scholarship Holder, University of Murrey) were invited as the guest speaker. The participants were briefed about the application procedure, oppurtunities and the pre- requistics of different scholarships in universities in UK, Finland and other foreign universities Photo Gallery: Facebook 5. General Body Meeting 19 Role: Organizer Description: The General Body Meeting with freshers was a complete success. IEEE Day Celebrations 2018 at UET Taxila Role: Decor and Logistics Description: IEEE Student Branch UET Taxila celebrated the globally celebrated IEEE Day 2018 on branch level. The participants were briefed about IEEE, IEEE Day, memberships, it’s benefits and other aspects of the society. IEEE Student Branch UET Taxila Cabinet 2019-20 Role: Management Description: IEEE Student Branch UET Taxila organized interviews for the cabinet 2019-20. Counselor IEEE Student Branch UET Taxila Prof. Dr. Gulistan Raja conducted the interviews. After careful evaluation of each candidate, the cabinet for the tenure 2019-20 was announced. IEEE DAY CELEBRATIONS 2020 AT MICROSOFT TEAM Role: Creativity Description: IEEE Student Branch UET Taxila celebrated the globally celebrated IEEE Day different kind of games were playing . I have participated most of games but unfortunately our team loses. The participants were briefed about IEEE, IEEE Day, memberships, it’s benefits and other aspects of the society. We will have peaceful, productive and orderly learning environment that meets the academic, social and development for all of our students. My goal is to prepare members for successful experience without any remediation. I will provide the best technical support to our MEMBERS, helping improve their technical and communication skills, and strive to solve problems with a positive attitude that spreads to my co-workers. Future Plans: • Character building of volunteers. • The tendency to generate new ideas or possibilities that may be useful in communicating with others • Entertaining ourselves and others • Ensuring continuous involvements of volunteers. • Technical Training Programs. • Organizing instructional/Industrial tour • Seminars for boosting self-confidence of volunteers • Professional training of volunteers • Make myself and our juniors to be more valueable in future • Arrange Workshops according to voluteer’s interest and technology • Sessions in different departments regarding IEEE 3
