How About…COMPREHENSIVE LAW STUDIES
Have you thought about a career in law? Becoming a paralegal, attorney,
judge, mediator, arbitrator, crime scene investigator, Federal Marshall, FBI
agent, CIA agent, or any other field of law? Well this class is for you. Even
if you don’t have an interest in law, this class is for you. This is a
hands-on, engaging, fun class for all. You will learn about the criminal
justice process, civil law, juvenile law, family law, contract law, your legal
rights, etc…there will be guest speakers such as attorneys, paralegals,
federal agents, judges, CSI personnel, and homicide detectives. Have you
tried to solve a crime? Well you will in this class. Have you ever
wanted to watch a real trial? We will be at the Orange County
Courthouse. Have you gone to a real CSI lab? We will tour one.
Have you been to law schools/colleges? We will tour some? And
many more field trips. You will have fun performing mock trials, mock
jury selections, mock civil cases, making contracts, etc…This will be a
hands-on class where you will participate in your learning and have FUN
doing it.
