Sequencing A Story
-refers to the ability to
determine the first event,
the second event, the third
event and so on and so
forth.
Importance:
a key component in
determining reader’s
understanding of the
given pictures and/or
stories.
Predicting A Story
-is telling or guessing what will
happen next in pictures and/or
stories. A reader may make
predictions by establishing the
relationship between words,
ideas and/or pictures in a given
story.
Importance:
an important
comprehension
strategy.
Ben was walking home from
school when he found a wallet full
of money. His parents had always
taught him to be honest. Ben
