Subject: Response to Letter no: 2(3)
With reference to Letter no: 2(3) , concerning the show cause response to the rejoining the
department on 12th January 2023 after completion of my postdoc research Project. I went to South
Korea for my postdoctoral research in november 2020 which was for the period of November 05,
2020 to December, 31 2022. In order to join the postdoctoral research project, I requested for the
leave for the mentioned project completion period.
Initially, the Vice Chancellor and Administration of The University of Haripur endorsed me to join the
Postdoc Project which is called the Brain Pool one of the top research support program of South
Korea and granted me a leave of 550 days (without pay) which was the maximum allowed leave
duration to be availed one time. As the requirement of the project was to complete the duration
mentioned above, thus the University administration allowed me to join the project and asked me to
apply for leave extension once your approved leave period has expired with an assurance that they
will approve the leave for the remaining period. I therefore went with a clear mind and was
comfortable with this great support of my University.
After expiration of the initial period, I applied for the leave extension after a discussion with the
Registrar of the University of Haripur on 19th of May, 2022. I am thankful to the University for their
support during the research period and hopeful for their continuing support in future. I am sure all the
knowledge and experience I got during my tenure at the Jeju National University, South Korea will be
very much fruitful for my University, Department, and students of the University.
