Making a Diorama: World War I Trench Warfare
Optional Assignment: Will take place of Ch. 13 Assignment Packet. *You must still complete Ch. 13 Vocab and
Map of Europe 1914*
Purpose: Design a diorama representing trench warfare on the Western Front during World War I.
Requirements: Demonstrate at least SIX elements in your diorama and be sure to label each element:
• Troops
• Fire Step
• Trenches
• Artillery
• Sandbags
• Barbed Wire
• Machine Gun Nests
• No Man’s Land
• Duck Boards
