Fungsi manajemen yang dilakukan mencakup perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penyusunan, pengarahan, dan pengawasan. Dalam kolaborasi, penerapan konsep kolaborasi dan koopetisi memperlihatkan bahwa relasi antar organisasi dapat menciptakan situasi yang komplementer atau saling melengkapi, pararel dengan sifat kolaborasi dimana relasi antar organisasi saling tergantung.
