ANNUAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT 2020
MESSAGE
It is with great pleasure that I submit the Annual Accomplishment Report of San
Agustin Elementary School. Time has passed quickly, but tenure in providing remarkable
education to our students has been sustained. We continuously foster a safe and caring
environment, instill a lifelong learning and utilize teaching techniques that make learning
engaging and relevant despite of the current educational situation that we are facing. The
COVID-19 Pandemic makes us anxious especially for those who have pre-existing health
conditions. We are strong enough to overcome. We developed programs and strategies to
continue providing. In the face of converging crises, teachers, parents, and other
stakeholders spoke up and showed up for our learners to bring education at their doorsteps.
I have been struck by how lucky I am to have a strong and tenacious school community
workforce during this very uncertain time.
We know that COVID-19 Pandemic will continue to unearth new challenges in the
months to come. However, we believe that the strong relationships we hold with our
teachers, parents, and our stakeholders will guide us through these challenges together.
We will keep doing everything at our best with the guidance of our Almighty God to
build a community where every child feels safe and valued while learning.
With Gratitude,
VILMA F. FORBES EdD

I. INTRODUCTION
San Agustin Elementary School is a public institution that provides a strong commitment
in offering a quality Basic Education which draws on pedagogical practice that is data
informed, evidenced based and appropriate education to the current educational situation.
Guided by the DepEd Vision, Mission and Core Values, San Agustin Elementary School
continues to conceptualize the School Programs focusing on the learners needs. Project IPresent aims to obtain 95% daily attendance. Project HEARTS (High Quality Education
Achieved through Responsive Teaching Strategies aims to enhance teacher competence
and skills through different strategies applicable in new normal. Alternative Learning System
(ALS) Access encourages school-aged children to be in school. Project PRISM Pedagogy and
Reengineering in Science and Mathematics aims to elevate the understanding of the
competencies in Science and Mathematics resulting to low performance. Project REAP
(Rejuvenate and Elevate Academic Performance) aims to increase the proficiency level of
the learners across all learning areas. Project Star (Shine Towards Achievement in Reading)
aims to address reading gaps through creative and innovative approaches and transform the
quality of teaching through the development of efficient reading devices. Project QLIC
(Quality Learning via Interactive Community provides teachers with advancement in utilizing
technology in teaching. Project LEAD Learning Educators Achieved Dynamism aims to
enhance the capacity of teachers in teaching. Project Connect also hopes to multiply
participation and collaboration among stakeholders. Together with the National Programs,
SAES continues to upgrade the school programs and upskill the teachers to improve the
Academic Performance of the learners in a safe and child-friendly environment.
School Head, teachers, parents and other stakeholders are working collaboratively to
deliver quality Basic Education to learners. Teachers and non-teaching personnel worked
hand in hand in the preparation of modules to be distributed to the learners from sorting out
until the distribution day. We have been trying all means of reaching out their learners
particularly those who were not able to come during the distribution. We developed a portal
with all the modules so learners can access when clerical problems are encountered and
when there are clarifications in the printed modules.

We are also thankful to our Honorable Mayor for providing us a school-wide internet
connection for teachers and learners. Teachers who do not have internet connection at
home can utilize the school computers to continue providing learning to their learners. We
have implemented also all the school activities successfully and virtually with the collaborative
efforts of our teachers and parents like literary contests, Buwan ng Wika, UN celebrations and
other school celebrations which empower the learners to unlock their potentials. We have
constructed school facilities needed to meet the challenges in educating our learners despite
of the continuous spread of COVID-19 Pandemic like the Wellness Room where parents with
problems encountered in guiding their children in learning will have the opportunity to
undergo counseling by our Master Teachers and Guidance Teacher to bring back their
confidence and dedication in providing support to their children’s education. We are grateful
to our parents and all the stakeholders who have stepped up to demonstrate full support to
our school.
San Agustin Elementary School continues to build its resilience and prioritize the use of
resources to support and develop our distinctive academic strengths: our performing learners,
our renowned faculty and compelling school programs and activities.
