Highlights







Introduced enhanced resolution DAB converter model based on a dedicated DC-DC converter
solver1.
Added support for signal access management (ability to hide signals in locked subsystems).
Added support for Virtual signals in Capture mode of Capture/Scope Widget.
Extended support for ISO 15118. Added support for EVCC AC and SECC DC charging modes
and PLC communication.
SIL Support toolbox discontinued - Advanced C component is now part of the basic library.
Firmware Manager functionality now also available in Device Manager.
Induction machine now supports runtime modifications of stator and rotor resistances.
General

A number of small bug fixes and improvements.

Library export improvements – fixed various defects regarding resource access and dependency
management
Library reload improvements – optimized performance of library reload and fixed defect with
properties not being reloaded
Automatic connection of components significantly improved
New components:
o Enhanced resolution DAB converter model

Component upgrades:
o Serial component improvements – better message specification and enabled data
escape
o Updated open62541 library for OPC UA to version 1.3.2, added support for username

o Egston SFP link now supported on HIL606 too
o Three phase inverter output voltage comparator function is modified to achieve lower
latency
o Signal Processing based option added to Photovoltaic Panel resulting in larger number of
PV panels that can be simulated on single HIL device, providing more flexibility and
providing MPP information within the simulation
o Thermal Network component upgraded to support ambient temperature input
o ISO 15118 EVCC component improvements - added support for AC charging
o ISO 15118 SECC component improvements - added support for DC charging
o ISO 15118 EVCC/SECC - added support for SLAC protocol needed for PLC (Power Line
Communication)

 precompile_fmu() – create new FMU file with Typhoon HIL binaries and removes
source files.
o Modified functions
 export_library() – added additional validation and more detailed exception
messages.
HIL SCADA API
o New properties
 PROP_CS_CAPTURE_SIGNALS
 PROP_CS_SCOPE_SIGNALS
o Deprecated and removed properties
 PROP_CS_SCOPE_ANALOG_SIGNALS and
PROP_CS_SCOPE_DIGITAL_SIGNALS are removed. Use new
PROP_CS_SCOPE_SIGNALS property instead
 PROP_CS_CAPTURE_ANALOG_SIGNALS and
PROP_CS_CAPTURE_DIGITAL_SIGNALS re removed. Use new
PROP_CS_CAPTURE_SIGNALS instead.
TyphoonTest Library


Documentation upgraded:
o Instruction about frozen python and typhoon-python Python Interpreters
o Custom pytest options for the new and the existent already in our API
New functions:
o Frequency calculation using SOGI PLL Algorithm in fast implementation
o New command line options available for Pytest:
 vdev - VHIL device selection
 vcfg - Configuration selection for the VHIL device
 ethdev - Ethernet device(s) selection
 discovery_ip - specifies custom device IP address
 fw - updates firmware to the specific configuration
 simple-report - creates simple real-time test execution csv report
