METHOD Design In this study quantitative descriptive correlational method will be utilized through the use of survey questionnaire to gather pieces of information from the respondent of University of Mindanao, Davao City their individual & collective perceptions about the providing career services. Descriptive method is a systematic collection of information from our respondents in the purpose of understanding, it describes patterns of behavior, thoughts & emotions among the respondents. Participants The participants of the study will be the students of University of Mindanao, Davao City. Most especially are the student of the University they are the most applicable participants in this study. Students who is unsure in their career path are really valuable in our research study because they were the one who will give us knowledge about providing career services to the students. Instrument The instrument used in this study will be a set of survey questionnaire made by the researcher. In this study survey questionnaire is designed into two sections: First part is the student’s perception in providing career services. Second part is the effect of providing career services to the student’s that is composed of 15 questions based in self- awareness, discussion of career future direction and career planning. The survey questionnaire is a scaling question type. Which will help to identify how the students affected by providing career services .and a scaling of (5) very much (4) much (3) moderately (2) little (1) not at all. Procedure The study will ask permission to the head of the school through a letter, then conduct research after they approved. Researcher will make a survey questionnaire that will be validated by the expert of panels and write an inform consent to the respondents to distribute the research instruments. The acquired data will be interpreted and examined by the researcher. Data analysis The most critical phase of any research is the data analysis. Data analysis condenses gathered information. Therefore, after we gathered our data we convert it into information that is useful for our decision making, data is collected from the student of the university, analyze and test hypothesis. We use statistics which is applicable in analyzing our data. Ethical consideration All questionnaire were confidential in order to protect the student’s privacy and from risk and harm. The students were aware that they could withdraw from the study up to the time of analysis. The participant’s name were initially known by the researcher only. All names were removed and replaced with code number or pseudonym. As a result, participant’s anonymity could be guaranteed. On-site counselling, however, was be available upon request or if distress was perceived by the researcher.
