One of our almost-full garages wants to increase parking prices for renters starting April 1,
2023. They have provided us the list of current garage occupants, along with their resident
directory.
1. Create a contact list for people in the garage that includes the name, email, and unit
number for only people whose prices are increasing
2. Draft an email to a resident whose price is increasing
Hi Curtis,
I hope your week is going well.
I am reaching out to inform you that starting on April 1st your rental price for your parking
spot will be increasing from $150 to $175. We greatly appreciate your business, and we
hope that you will choose to continue to use our service.
Please feel free to reach back out if you need any additional information or assistance.
Thank you,
Jack
3. What else might you do to make sure residents were aware of the price changes?
4. How would you deal with this response to your pricing updates:
a. “This is ridiculous. I can’t believe you’re raising my parking rates even though I’ve
been such a good tenant the entire time I have lived here. I don’t even have an
EV, so why am I being charged so much to be in this space?”
