Writing Task: A Person’s View of The World
May Change Over Time
From my own experience, I believe a person’s way of seeing the world can change over
time. There are a few factors that play a part in this. One is that human beings mature as they
get older, which affects their way of thinking. Second is that people’s thoughts are also
influenced by who they are surrounded by or who they hang out with.
Maturing has few signs such as you start listening more than speaking and you don’t shy
away from responsibilities. As people mature, they start looking at world as a grown up instead
of how they used to look at it when they were smaller. As kids we try climbing things such as
shelves and try playing with things such as spoons. The reason for this is when we are kids, we
don’t have much knowledge, we look at the world as our playground to explore. When we are
older, we get knowledge from social media and school, we start looking at the world as a place
to grow in life and find opportunities. For example, we start looking for a person to love, to
grow with in life, we start finding jobs and start planning our life.
People you are surrounded by and talk to everyday play a huge part in your thinking.
Because the things you are listening to, talking about, learning about, feed a lot into your
knowledge and shape you as a person. And that can change the way you view the things around
you. For example, if you hang out with a lot of entrepreneurs your mindset will develop that
way. Hence why a person’s view of the world may change over time.
