Assignment task
Please note this assignment forms two parts:
Part 1 of the assignment will be a group effort to include information on the importance of Continuous
Professional Development (CPD) and a plan.
This assignment involves preparing a report (part 2) which highlights the moral and ethical codes of a
construction organisation, the report should include information relating to the corporate governance and
corporate social responsibility strategies. In addition, you will review how professional practice builds on
the general business practice in terms of professional qualifications.
This assignment has been designed to provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate your achievement of
the following module learning outcomes:

In groups of no more than 3 students complete the create a continuing professional development (CPD)
plan in a poster format. Ensure the below elements are included:

Part 2 Individual Report (2000 words)
Write a report highlighting how codes of practice and professional standards are maintained in the selected
organisation.

This assignment should be submitted electronically via Moodle (module tutors will discuss this process with
you during class time).

Please note, group leader should upload poster to Moodle, other group members are required to upload a
cover page only.
Part 2 Individual Report Monday 13th March 2023 before 11:59pm via Moodle.
You should submit all work for summative assessments by the above deadline. Work submitted up to three
working days after the deadline will be accepted and marked, but the mark will be capped at the pass mark
(40%) unless there is a valid reason for the late submission (i.e., having been granted an extension to the
deadline or a deferral under the terms of the Extenuating Circumstances Policy).
Work submitted more than three working days after the deadline without a valid reason will not be
accepted and will be recorded as 0% RN (refer, no work submitted).
