With various professional trainings both local and overseas, his career mobility engendered specialization expertise and extensive training and academic development Portfolio Assumptions that led to various Command, Leadership and Project Management positions in a career span of 40 years. As the Head of Air Force Air Traffic School, initiated the process of obtaining “Approved Training Organinzation” (ATO-ATC) status from DCA Malaysia and accreditation from ICAO in 2017. In the 40 years of military profession with enhanced academic achievements, had experienced a colourful career assuming diverse roles and responsibilities. Enriched with innovative management and critical thinking skills, was always proactively responsive in generating workable solutions for the continued future of the organization. His valuable contributions led to the enhancement of Air Force Curriculum Faculty in the Air Force Training Command. It was a great achievement and career highlight that endowed him the rank of Brigadier General. RECOGNITION & AWARDS Had obtained coveted recognitions from the Air force for his tireless efforts and immeasurable contributions in augmenting the Airforce Training Command with Curriculum Structure for the entire range of training programs in the Air Force comprising, Aircrew, Engineering, ATC, ADC, Logistics, Administration and Special Forces specializations. The pinnacle of career mobility was the promotion to Brigadier General in the year 2020. Besides being promoted to a Brigadier General for his immense contributions, had been accorded with number of Air Force & Federal Awards and Decorations from the Royalties of Malaysia. MAJOR K. SUBRAMANIAM RMAF, (RTD). PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (MILITARY) In 1970, as an airman began the career in the Royal Malaysian Airforce as a Aicraft Maintenance Mechanic by trade and in the year 1975 was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant and embarked on new career venturing into the Air Defence World.. With various professional trainings both local and overseas, the career mobility, engendered specialization expertise and assumption of command and leadership positions in a career span of 28 years. The highlight of the career was the assumption of the post of Commanding Officer of a new Radar Unit and developing it to attain Operational Status within a span of 3 years. In the 28 years of military profession, acquired vast experiences in leadership, management and training positions and responsibilities. As a result, enriched with result oriented management focus and creative thinking skills, managed to accomplish the Commanding Officer’s Responsibilities with notable success and that was a great achievement and career highlight as a Major till retirement from Military Service. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (ACADEMIC) After leaving the military, over a period of 18 years, had been involved in the academic world and assumed various responsibilities in Private Institutions of Higher Learning. The Academic career began with Programme Coordinator, Lecturer and progressed to the position of Head of Faculty, managing 30 lecturers and 2000 over students (2007- 2014) under the Faculty of Security & Law Enforcement Management. Whist managing the faculty, gained considerable expertise in curriculum development in academic programs that were accredited by Malaysian Qualifications Agency under the patronage of Ministry of Education. Such programs are still being delivered by Private Institutions of Higher Learning in Malaysia. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (ACADEMIC) In essence, passing through various constructive milestones in the academic environment, significantly augmented the competency in developing productive curriculums which promote the learners experience in achieving the intended learning outcomes of the programs. In essence, a sound conceptual understanding of what a trainer and an educator should posses in developing a curriculum has been achieved while sailing through the academic journey. As a trainer and educator equipped with necessary professional qualifications, experiences and competences still serving the education and training industries in Malaysia. RECOGNITION & AWARDS Had obtained coveted felicitations from his superiors for his tireless efforts in managing the New Radar Unit project as Commanding Officer. The assumption of the Commanding Officer’s post, besides being the carreer highlight, his contributions and services had been accorded with number of Air Force & Federal Awards from the Royalties of Malaysia.
