I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the persons who helped me in
making my OJT, especially to Mrs. Janice Ellima who assist me during my application at
Vintage Inn. To the general manager Mrs. Carmel Joy Bautista who undoubtedly accept
me as the trainee in their establishment.
To my Parents, Brothers, and Sisters who are always there for me giving advice and
financial support. I would like also to extent my especial thanks to all the employees
there who never failed to share their expertise with e as I complete my everyday duty of
y training. To rare and unexpected friends and co trainees I’ve met.

CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
On the job training that occurs in the worth place .The new employee learns
the job while doing the job and earning his or her payback. On job training is also called
hands on training. On the job training has many advantages, but it can also have few
advantages if the OJT is not properly planned and executed.
The goal of the OJT program is to place participants in occupations that will
enhance their prospect for long-term employment and will ultimately permit them to
become self-sufficient. OJT involves the acquisition of specific skills and employment
competencies, through exposure in an actual work setting, to the process, work task,
tools and methods of a specific job or group of jobs.
Exposure to a proper O-The-Jo training helps in the preparation of the future
professional for their future job. What the students learned in their On-The-Job
Training, even a little thing can apply when are already working. Students will be trained
not only academically but socially as well. The way they work and communicate with
others will not be a problem anymore. It also gives the trainee the chance to immerse
himself in chosen field and experience and learn the skills necessary to the industry
he/she interested in working with experienced staff, one be able to observe how the job
done properly.

Profile of the Company Mature of the Business or Service
Vintage Inn has 47 spacious and clean rooms that has private bathrooms with
hot and cold shower, cable television, PABX Telephone system, Wi-Fi hotspot. It has also
24 hours standby generator, room service and wakeup call service, laundry on Tuesday,
Thursday and Friday and additional 12% service charge for meals and beverages served
in room. Until now Vintage in well maintained and also still developing in order to get
more attraction. The place is clean, quiet and secure. They provide extra service for their
guest like extra pillow or a sheet and make up their rooms with no extra charged. The
deluxe rooms, air con with cable and private bath room with hot and cold shower.
Deluxe room single Php650.00 and deluxe double Php850.00,standard double
Php750.00 air con without TV with private bathroom with hot and cold shower. No air
con rooms with private bathroom, single Php 400.00 double Php 525.00. Family rooms
air con with cable TV private bathroom with hot and cold shower, family room for 4
beds Php 1, 400. Family room for 3 beds Php 1,300.00, Family room for 6 Php 1,700.00
and additional person Php 150.00, a very affordable price.

BRIEF HISTORY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT
Limquiaco and Mrs. Jesusa Pinili Limquiaco started a small business in their house,
like selling vegetables and fruits, and they also have a sari-sari store, which was typical
family business. Until the couple decided to improve their business which came to
decision of building structure which were divided into small stores that will be rented
from other business entrepreneurs. The building was named E&J. (Formerly Legaspi St.)
Dumaguete City,Negros Oriental, it is beside the public market building 3. It was built on
1995. The building has a 4th floor, the 1st floor is divided into a space rented store while
the remaining floors where the space for the Vintage INN
Long time ago, before the
building was built, the married couple Mr. Emiliano e space for Vintage Inn. On 1997,
Vintage Inn started its operation and it was manage by their child, who ius Mrs. Josefina
Pinili Limquiaco with her husband Dr. Bienvenido F. Yap Sr. From 1997 to 2010 until Mr.
Yap passed down her duty to her daughter and currently the manager of the Vintage Inn
whom is Mrs. Carmel Joy Yap Bautista.
The family also has their barbershop and a store, where you can buy religious
things like saints, rosary, etc…and they are religious family. From the word Vintage,
means fashioned, anti-modern, old-schooled, which simply describes that structure and
out view of the hotel.
CHAPTER 2
SUMMARY OF DUTY
WEEK 1

November 26-December 1, 2018
My training started on November 26, 2018. First day of training I assigned in the
housekeeping they was introduced the facilities in the department.
1. The skill I have learned for this week is proper cleaning in the room and comfort
room.
2. The skills I want to develop this week are my communicating skills to the guest.
3. The difficulties I have learned for this week is its very hard to change the bed
linens because the foam is very heavy.
4. My unforgettable experienced for this week is accidentally slept in the floor
when I return the key in the front desk.
WEEK 2
December 2-8, 2018
1. The skills I have learned for this week how to fold the bath towel with different
designed.
2. The skills I want to develop for this is my speed in working.
3. The difficulties I have encountered for this week is their establishment has no
elevator my shoulder is too painful bringing the linens from 4 th floor down to 2nd
floor.
4. My memorable experienced for this is the establishment is early celebrating
Christmas party and they invited us to joined their party.
WEEK 3
December 9-15, 2018
This week I assigned in the same department I already adjust the work and I’ve learned
a little.
1. The skills I have learned for this week is how to manage time especially when
there’s a lot of guest.
2. The skills I want to develop for this week is my English communication to guest.
3. This week I did not experienced any difficulties in the department where I was
assigned.
4. This week I don’t have any unforgettable experienced.
Week 4
December 16-22
1. This week my experienced was the same with the other week.
2. The skills I want to develop are my presence of mind in working.
3. The difficulties I’ve encountered in this week is when the guest is talking to me I
can’t really understand what they talking because they are very slang in talking
English.
4. My Unforgettable experienced in this week is when I clean the room there is one
room boy in the establishment giving something that its make me surprised.
Week 5
December 23-29, 2018
This week I was assigned in the Kitchen. Uncle Victor the head cook in the kitchen
teaches me on how to use the different utensils in the kitchen.
1. The skill I have learned for this week Proper cutting of the vegetables in different
sizes.
2. The skills I want to develop this week are my ability in working.
3. The problem I’ve encountered for this week, there is one employee got mad at me
and I don’t know what the reason is.
4. My unforgettable experienced this is I accidentally broke one glass.
WEEK 6
December 30 January 5, 2019
1. This week I have learned some of the menu in the kitchen.
2. The skill I want to develop this is alert and to be active in working.
3. This week I did not encountered any difficulties in this department.
4. My unforgettable experienced in this week is it’s my first time celebrating new
year’s day without my parents but I was not sad because the employee there are
treating me us their family.

1. The skill I have l Learned for this is how to clean the classroom and also how to
beddings the bed
2. The skills I want to develop this week is how to entertained the guest.
3. The difficulties I have encountered for this week is it’s very hard in working because
of many check out especially on Saturday and Sunday.
4. My Unforgettable experienced for this week is accidentally open the door which has a
guest inside.

December 2-8, 2018
1. The skills I have learned for this week is how to fold the bath towel with different
designed.
2. The Skills I want to develop this week is how work faster.
3. The difficulties I have encountered this week are their establishment has no
elevator I’m so tired walking lifting the linens from the laundry area and vice
versa.
4. My memorable experience for this week is I met a new OJT from the other
school.
WEEK 1
JOECEL S. ELLIMA
November 26- December 1, 2019
My training started on November 26, 2018. We introduce our self in the staff then
they assigned us in different rooms.
1. The skills I have learned for this week is to entertain the guest and also how to
clean the room.
2. The skills that I want to develop is don’t shy to ask question on the staff.
3. The difficulties that I encountered for this week when the guest or customer are
asking their rooms we cannot help them because we don’t know where is the
exact rooms because it’s our first time.
4. My unforgettable experience for this week is when the customer told me to
carry her luggage. And she gave me a small amount of money but I didn’t accept
it because I’m shy.

December 2-8, 2018
1. The skills I have learned for this week is that I clean the kitchen and wash the
dishes and wiped the windows and tables shipping the floor.
2. The skills that I want to develop are my communicating skills with the other
people.
3. The difficulties that I encountered for this week we encountered that there are
many rooms that are not clean but we need to clean on time because the staff
are having their party. So we are doing our part to finish it.
4. My unforgettable experience for this week is that they were having their party
and they invited us.

December 9-15, 2018
For this week I’m learned a little but at the same department.
1. This week I experienced was the same with the other week.
2. The skills I want to develop are being confident with yourself.
3. The difficulties that I encountered that they are so many plastic in the room all
we have to do is clean it.
4. My unforgettable experience is when the guest gave us a tip then we buy it for
snack.

December 16-22, 2018
1. The skills I have learned for this week is being on time in your work.
2. The skill I want to develop in myself is doing give up of what you are doing,
because failure makes you success.
3. With this week I did not encountered any difficulties in the department.
4. My unforgettable experienced is when the guest child gave me a piece of candy
and she smile and run to her mother.

1. This week I experienced was the same with the other week.
2. The skills I want to develop on how to manage your time in the work.
3. The difficulties that I encountered for this week when we are getting linens in
the 4th floor because we don’t have elevator so we just use stairs.
4. This week I don’t have any unforgettable experienced.

December 30- January 5, 2019
1. This week I experienced was the same with the other week.
2. The skills I want to develop are my English pronunciation.
3. The difficulties that I encountered for this week is when we are cleaning their
room, then the guest are waiting for the room and we are on hurry so that the
guest well not be angry.
4. My unforgettable experienced in this week when I celebrate my new year with
the employees and it’s my first time to separate with my family.

1. This week the skills I have learned is how to clean fast.
2. I want to develop my skills on how to clean the bathroom without unnecessary
things to do.
3. The problem I’ve encountered for this week is it’s hard to put the bed sheet
without companion.
4. My unforgettable experienced was the time clean the bathroom and there is
stall in the floor.

1. The skills I have learned for this week is how to entertained guest.
2. The problems I have encountered for this week is that the has no good manners.
3. The problem that I countered for this is its hard talking an English language to
the foreigner.
4. My unforgettable experience was the time that there are a lot of rooms to clean.
I’m so stressed because I’m the only one to clean it all.
