TITLE: External Hardware C om ponent s on a Computer S y s t e m
AIM: How to switch ON/OFF the computer and getting to know what external hardware components it
has and their usage.
Equipment: Desktop computer, Keyboard, Mouse
1. Switch on the computer u s i n g the "ON" button
2. Logon into the system e.g. by typing lab4 if computer name is “Computer Lab 4” and so on.

Go to control panel >System and Security>System
What computer s p e c i f i c a t i o n s are indicated? Write them down
Close the open windows and switch off the computer
Draw a labeled diagram of the computers external layout.
