The BMS hs is designed for use in
• Reverse osmosis systems
• Ultra-filtration systems
• Filtration systems
• Pressure-boosting systems and water supply
A Siemens High Speed asynchronous motor powers the BMS hs.
hs stands for high speed and enables the creation of high pressure of up to 82.7 bar.
The BMS hs motor has a speed range of 4000 to 5500 rpm.
The speed of the motor must be controlled by a variable frequency drive.
The variable frequency drive can be ordered from Grundfos or other brands can be used as an option, however the
output frequency must be minimum up to 184 HZ.
The high-speed motor also gives the BMS hs a smaller footprint and drastically reduces the weight of the pump

The Grundfos BMS hp booster module is suitable for industrial and water supply applications where the inlet pressure
is high, up to 82.7 bar (1200 psi). BMS hp booster modules are used to increase the system pressure up to 82.7 bar
(1200 psi).
The BMS hp booster module is the optimum solution
for applications requiring the following:

Pumps capable of coping with high system pressures
A minimum of maintenance.
Modified standard submersible pumps are used for the BMS hp booster modules. The pumps are centred in the
stainless-steel (Duplex) sleeve.
