Large Group Session #6: Open Space Technology
Open Space Technology is a unique approach to organizing meetings that shift the focus of control
for the content and direction of the meeting to the participants. That means YOU get to dictate
what you learn during these sessions. Participants will write down a topic they want to learn more
about or one they would like to teach others about. These sessions are aimed to empower you to
educate and learn from your peers. What you get out of this is entirely up to you. The staff will be
present in each room to take notes of what is discussed, but they will only provide input when
directly asked. Their role is to capture the key points of the discussion and later consolidate all the
notes, so you can have access to the key points from every session after FLE concludes.
